Has everybody got the bubbly in ready? :)

I genuinely did have a bottle of champers with the missus when the previous verdict was given....it'll be neat Scotch if SISU win this time....

This is just if they are allowed to appeal isn't it? So just a simple yes or no.

If its yes then back to court with JR1, if its no SISU will start JR2.

I still think it should be sorted with a dance off, like films nowadays seem to suggest.

JS: Oh no you didn't, bitch:

High Court judgement in favour of CCC was in summer of 2014, SISU granted permission to appeal in summer 2015, appeal hearing was in February and result is due tomorrow - the result being which side will be contacting Supreme Court!

With the indication being that the government would have to foot the bill if SISU win, rather than CCC, it could even been the government going to the SC.

Yep. I'd take a definitive council win ahead of promotion next season. Genuinely. Really want to see those hard-nosed bastards get their just desserts.

Again, really? There was somebody else saying they were having bubbly as well, just having a look.

Maybe you are on the wrong forum?

Very strange, up there with people being fans of a stadium management company.

Nick could you clarify what is your preferred result, and how that will impact CCFC going forward ?

Is there a preferred result? Even if this was the end of it does it make much difference either way?

CCC win - SISU stay in their current holding pattern attempting to run the club at break even indefinitely hoping to somehow get a return on their investment.

SISU win - they get their return on investment and walk away. Assuming somebody will take the club over they will still have the issue of limited revenues streams and no stadium ownership.

Let's be clear, just because I'm a CCFC fan doesn't mean I'm colour blind to right and wrong. I love my country but that doesn't mean I approve and support the government's actions with blind loyalty. You have to retain critical distance. The team has my loyalty but the club's owners do not. You can make the distinction.

SISU are not CCFC - this is a case between SISU and the council, not CCFC or ACL. I have no loyalty to either, but it's clear to all but the most one-eyed delusionists that SISU were mostly in the wrong. Even if they win, it will only be on a technicality. Their conduct during the dispute was absolutely abhorrent and made me ashamed to be a CCFC fan.

If SISU loose would that not speed up their departure.

Also if SISU win is there any chance that it may lead to the WASPs ownership of ACL being challenged in court ?.

If SISU win, then it means the council have done wrong doesn;t it?

Whether SISU win or the Council win, I'd prefer Promotion every day to either of them. Like you say, my loyalty is with CCFC so I'd prefer good things to happen to them rather than a dodgy hedge fund or a just as dodgy council.

I certainly won't be celebrating either outcome, it's weird. Imagine if somebody said they are going to be raising a glass if SISU win? They would probably get labelled a one-eyed delusionist.

They won't win on a 'technicality' you dope - it's a fairly black and white judgment.

I disagreed with SISU's tactics (Northampton et al)

I am gutted by Wasps owning the stadium that CCFC should have (although I understand why the Council did what they did - just not happy that CCFC have suffered as a result).

With regards to the 'outcome' , I will happily have whatever decision ultimately allows the football club to progress (whether that is a SISU sale, or SISU redirecting its energies towards the club/team, rather than the courts).

But that's my problem I don't think whichever result it is we as fans know if it will be a benefit to CCFC

SISU WIN - there's no guarantee they will get a return on there "investment" certainly not
at the inflated numbers they talk about.

That's me too. Would like the best result for Coventry City. I do also want justice to be done though. If someone has done wrong they should be brought to book on it.

I want Sisu gone, but the council also didn't do us any favours at all did they!

Just want to see it put to bed and a line drawn under the whole sorry saga.

That's the thing isn't it. Justice being done.

The best result would be the truth and justice wouldn't?

Without knowing the possible penalties / sisus plans based on either result we don't know which is best for the club?
