It should be if it's outdoor?
Didn't realise how much my anxiety spiked whilst the football season was on. Must learn to not let the losses hit me as much as they do, whilst basking in the wins when they come. Wouldn't have it any other way.
Your right mate. Was playing a lot of football before the lockdown. Twice in the week, on a saturday and on a sunday so having nothing now is hard. Both leagues I play in have been postponed until the new year, at least the gym is open again now..It's because there's so little else on to do. Aside from working the football's one of few distractions so you get more invested in them than otherwise.

Feeling shite today. Had a crap day at work today, and went to play 5 a side tonight, got told we couldn’t play because we needed an FA affiliation number. So I got one and they told us because we didn’t have the exact players listed we couldn’t play. How is this tier 3 much different to lockdown. They’ve given us Gyms and Shops, but who wants to relax by going round a shopping centre at night.

Really struggling with work at the moment. I know most people do not enjoy their job but I get absolutely no pleasure from it what so ever. Thinking about a potential change in career.
Just got back in from the first Monday night football back. Lost 3-1. Their team were a bunch of fucking horrible chavs. Fouling very badly all game and the ref did nothing.
Their worst offender tried to take me out at the end but I saw it coming and stood my ground. Then when I released the ball I kicked his legs out as he went passed me.
Final whistle blew and a brawl started. My team were basically pussies and it was me against about 3 of them. Almost got very ugly. None of them for all their aggression actually threw a punch though. Thought I might get intercepted in the car park but thankfully not.
Fucking cowardly cunts.

What would you like to do for a living?Really struggling with work at the moment. I know most people do not enjoy their job but I get absolutely no pleasure from it what so ever. Thinking about a potential change in career.
How did you find a way out? My main concern is having been out of the field for a number of years.
It's been a fairly mammoth task for me. I *think* my CV reads pretty well, Economics university graduate, current managerial position, advanced in CIMA studies fairly quickly, looking for a decentish company to build a finance career in from near enough the bottom, basically had nothing in return. Very demoralising. Only thing I can do is keep taking exams, keep applying and just hoping someone will take a chance with me. As the guy previously said, my job gives me little to zero mental stimulation, so although it pays the bills, it is a drag. I shouldn't moan as I am lucky to still be in employment given the current economic climate, but it doesn't take the mental pain away all the time.Did a Masters in a subject where there was a need basically. I’ve known people that just started applying but they generally tend to end up in education adjacent roles like exam boards or training.
I’d been out of tech for ten years when I decided to go back. I managed to get a few interviews but realised the field had moved on massively, don’t know how much that applies outside of software (my prior tech job was before smartphones existed).
If I were you I’d start applying and see what happens while looking at retraining opportunities. Look at graduate roles, that sort of thing. Maybe even reach out to companies and explain the situation, they might be willing to take you on and train you up while you work at a lower level, hard to say without knowing your industry really.
This does not help with my social anxiety stopping me playing five a side.

Was awful for me for the first few days lol....sound now thoWent back to the gym yesterday and I didn't realise how good the aches and pains this morning would make me feel.
dont get me wong Dom, my performance wasn't the best haha. I think just having an outlet for all this pent up energy from the last month was class. Probably gonna end up going about 4 times a week, particularly whilst football is off.Was awful for me for the first few days lol....sound now tho
Returning to work after any break is crap, so you're definitely not alone there. I'm focussing on vaccine and staying off social media.Anyone else got the post christmas blues? The thought of going back to work is sickening. Just realising what my life is becoming now, working to get to the holidays or weekends. What a depressing way to live.

I've watched the Ted in the 'Do it badly' section of this article on the beeb and thought it was very good -

The emotions being contagious is in interesting one as I'm sure there's a correlation between state of mind and view of us winning...so might be an idea to just lurk the matchday threads if you are feeling low as there'll be people on there who won't know about this thread. That's for everyone.
Enjoy the win today all PUSB
You’re right mate. Really does effect how I view the game. Will give the next few games a miss whilst I get my head right.Returning to work after any break is crap, so you're definitely not alone there. I'm focussing on vaccine and staying off social media.

Sorry to hear that mate. I am grateful for it I really am. It’s just been a difficult period for myself and close family. I know lockdown is tough for everyone.you're well being is more important than football mate. I'm sure once you get back into the routine you'll be fine.
I've no job to go back to so at least you can count yourself lucky in that regard!
