No I think its clearly the box but I can't figure out which way round Shipley and Allen will be.

Would imagine Shipley will play at the top and Allen next to Sheaf

I think you're probably right. I prefer Allen further forward personally, but then I'd rather him in the middle than Shipley I suppose.

Not a bad starting lineup to be fair considering all the news about injuries and illness leading up to this. Hamer, Maatsen and Waghorn will surely get some minutes later on. Just hope we can steal a win here.

Weak looking bench, you can pretty much predict the subs already!

Waghorn & Hamer for Allen & Shipley, Maatsen for Bidwell

We played the box at their place last season on the back of the 0-4 spanking by Blackburn. We had Shipley and Allen as the AMs behind Godden with Giles and McCallum as wing backs. It was dire from a tactical point of view, we were so deep and just lumping it long to the 3 of them. Was just about the low point of last season for me. Looking forward to a better balanced team and performance today!

Shipley has done ok the last 2 games so why knacker our other players if Robins can rotate the squad, as long as it don't bite him on the ass,Shipley has potential goals in him so I guess why not...It was said on here last week that Hamer was looking tired so I guess again why not give him a little break unless there may be a slight conspiracy and someones come in with a bid we may not be able to refuse...watch this space and buy a telescope to look at the other space :)

Looks like the wind is going to play a big part in this match. Maybe time to take some long range shots.

Think it’s about time Hamer got a rest. If players like Allen keep doing well then I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Hamer as an emergency RWB before he regains his place in midfield.

No chance he’ll be seen as an emergency RWB

Well we have two RWBs injured, another halfway out the door, and our starting one today is a half-fit CM. Didn’t Hamer play there in Holland?

I don’t expect it to happen, but I also don’t expect him to waltz back into the midfield considering how bad he’s been recently.

Boro having the possession could suit us today, the pitch looks loads better than the Ricoh and we play better on the counter
