Two excellent wins on the trot and signs the season has been turned around. Can’t believe it was only 8daus ago the discussion was all doom and gloom. Win Wednesday and the start of the season will largely be forgotten. But we have some difficult games to come so there may be a few downs as well as ups before Christmas. As long as we sing (and stand) together all should be well

It’s funny every time they mentioned Hackney i thought of Hackney Fox and for some reason I thought regularly we were playing Leeds unlike Oggy who thought we were playing Brighton

We looked great against 11 they had a man sent off and we fell apart
Lati Dovin and Eccles did their best to give it away
We scored 3 had 3 disallowed missed two very good chances (sitters ) and played very poorly but hey ho we Won
"We scored 3, had another 3 ruled out for offside - 2 of them very close to being onside - and missed 2 sitters" and that's your definition of playing poorly? Boro only had 1 shot on target.
And Eccles who "did his best to give it away" put in a perfect cross for the first goal and scored the 3rd himself.
I'm regularly amazed at some of the comments on here.

Eccles really thrived in his role today, it was quite interesting to see us defend in a 4-4-2 shape at times and Eccles take up something close to a RM. Great cross for the Thomas’ goal, supported MVE defensively and brilliantly broke forward for his goal. More of that please!

Make no mistake, it was a 3-4-1-2 shape but because Rudoni isn’t a LWB by trade, we’ve tweaked the shape to compensate for that.

As a unit, Rudoni, Sheaf, Torp and Eccles all worked well together. Keep them in the team for Derby!

Got back to Cov about 9.15. Long old day but worth it . Didn’t think Middlesbrough really troubled us I thought it would be a tough game. The away support was great. Only about 1400 or so but think we get behind them better because that’s the hard core followers

Josh Eccles picked his spot fantastically well and he picked his spot, after making a superb run through after being seen by Haji Wright.

He kept his nerve and as I said, he picked his spot and it was a fitting end to the scoring.

We forget how young Eccles is, he still has achne!
You forgot to mention he “picked his spot”

Eccles will be 25 on his next birthday. Hardly a spring chicken football wise.
