Marosi for Wilson
Osti for Hyam
Gyo or Baka for Biamou

That has to be the very minimum on Saturday.
Yep

Hyam HAS to come out of the team. He’s an error waiting to happen. If you don’t want to play Rose then go to a back 4 because Hyam cannot stay in the team. I think Rose is a good player but completely out of match fitness so we either play him or give up on him until next season.

I think Osti and McFadzean would be decent in a pair.

5 at the back isn't working anyway.

Who on our bench do you look at and think "He'll come on & win us the game" ?

In all honesty none, but I don't see any there either that I think "Christ if we bring him on for someone's who's knackered we're going to lose for sure"

MR is baffling us all recently. Is it the pressure? Shipley rightly nowhere near tthe pitch for three games then randomly starts and then taken off early and not seen again. Allen, sheaf seem to have been bomb squad now. He's proven time again he doesn't rate or trust baka so why keep him? There's a massive rebuilding job needed ASSSUMING we stay up

January again looks like a waste of a window.

James came on and did well but yet again had 0 positive effect on the result.
Gyokeres can’t even get on when we have two ineffective knackered strikers
Reid can’t contribute at all
Tavares not even supposed to contribute

If we stay up this season we’ll be so lucky to have been in the league with Wycombe, who would never usually make it, and Wednesday with a points deduction.

McFadzean is a massive issue for me. Although he was the best of the defenders tonight individually, he drags the whole team so deep. He did for most of last season too but teams didn't have the quality to make it count, or at least we had the relative quality to get away with it.

Problem is even if we are trying to hold out for a draw we need still need fresh legs. They made 4 attacking changes. We made 1 like for like.

just putting a fresh Baka on means they have to think about pace and strength. So takes a bit of pressure off

How are people excusing not making changes because of a budget?

Why are we bothering playing games?

If we have shitter players then it's more reason to make changes a we have shit tired players.
I’m not making excuses just that there will be a reason as to why it’s not that he’s just forgotten

Exactly. Counter their quality with energy and fresh legs. If he can't back baka pask, sheaf, Allen with 10 to go to run, hassle and chase. Why the fuck has he kept them in the squad

At some point you are going to have to accept that while we’re in the same league as teams like this... we’re not in the same league as teams like this.

Who’s coming on to turn the game ? Baka ?
That’s no argument. We lost. The worst we can do is lose. Making changes may have done nothing but it at least would have been an effort and we may have paid off.

Remember when we we worried Rose might be sold to Leeds last summer? They had a narrow escape there. Pitiful stuff from our entire defence (including Wilson) tonight. Strangely, the go to boo boy McFadzean was the only one who didn't have a complete nightmare.

We had to sign James as your favourite isn’t gold enough and robins is getting us out of that deal “bargain” 🥴 if not we might of had budget for a striker in jan but sheaf was a robins signing also 🤷🏻‍♂️

Rose and Dabo have both been very disappointing this season. Hoping it’s fitness and not quality related. Or we need another two players to add to the list in the summer.

Even if we brought on pask and then somebody up front to press and run about.
They turn up after every bad defeat. Budget, better team, premiership bla bla. Thing is if they didn’t come on to defend the indefensible then we would probably vent and be done but the defending of doing nothing and watching the game slip away when we can all see it happening is infuriating.

Or it may have backfired & we threw away a point at which point he'd also have been crucified. Who'd be a manager eh!?

Talking about how much money other teams players cost is the most boring of all the boring shit on here. I've seen the goals we conceded, they were fucking shit at any level and people are allowed to be annoyed by it.

I’m ready to be shot down so bring it on ...
Drop Walker and Max for Saturday as they have both proven to be utter shite for the best part of this season . Put Osti up front as target man , someone who can head the ball and put a shift in . And Hamer playing number 10 with O’Hare just in front to give us more outlets.
nothing to lose ( well maybe ) just another game .

Do Barnsley have a £50 million forward? Whose to blame if we can’t have subs that change the game?
No they don't but they stayed up last year on a technicality and went in this season with more experience at the level and great work ethic to go with it

We need Ostigaard at the back after that shit-show tonight.

If only we could get one

Which would make you think MR would realise he's playing for draws and often not getting them. So it's not a tactic that's working.

What I find baffling is that he did such a great job against Brentford in how to approach that game and then has just abandoned it. It worked against one of the best sides in the division so against poorer ones I'll just lt things drift and not even try the same thing.

Well, no some were and some weren't.
Most of our squad were and if you compare our bench to most Championships sides bench I think my piont is proven.

Agreed, it effects everything. Our midfielders starting position is 35 yards from our goal because of it, the wing backs just playing as full backs and O'Hare and forwards isolated.

The old adage "play in their half" is virtually impossible

Sticking a defender upfront will show straight away how much more running and mobility is needed to play there than at the back. It would be a shit show.

Sheaf isn’t my favourite, I wouldn’t start him ahead of Kelly and Hamer.

James came in to steady us, which he didn’t do. Plus wasted the budget. Playing Sheaf and spending the James and Gyo money on a striker would have us more points in my opinion.
