That’s what I’ve asked on another thread our local media should be all over this, perhaps they are but yet again ccfc is centre stage of crap.

I think the writing is on the wall......MA will take over your club he likes to play it slowly as well as having plenty of cash he can probably blow King out of the water if he wants.
As otheres have said on here you've had some shit years recently and MA probably looks like a better option just keep an eye on the slippery bastard.

Good luck for the future and hope to see you back in the premiership soon....and make sure you take all 3 points on Feb 25th

Would you be happy with shit football and a 17th place finish in the top tier?

What do you mean though, for a couple of seasons or in perpetuity?

It is possible to be a mid sized city with a 30000 stadium, to win the league and become an established competitive Prem team.

See Leicester for details.

So is Operation Premiership under Big Mike still “ready and waiting”, or do we have to wait for him to drive the club into the ground a couple of times first?

As Premiership is rugby now, maybe it’s still on for Wasps?

Hardly endearing himself to his potential customers (us fans) with this opening salvo.

Even worse if his stunts accelerate the departure of MR and out best players / costs us points.

He had an opportunity to buy the club and stabilise as well as bring his business to the City and build good relationships.

Eviction notice?

Daft move.

However, he’s obviously made the right calls more than the wrong calls ok his business life.

If Ashley comes in and gets us promoted, this will all be forgotten

I’m fact if he gets rid of SISU - I’m pretty sure most our fans will back the decision

Has he or anyone connected to him ever expressed any interest in buying us?
Not publicly - I suppose it’s all guesswork. Could easily be 2+2 = 5 but Ashley wanted back into football with Derby,

Hoffman is going to be on the board of the arena I’d hazard a guess with a view to be club chairman,

he’s just bought a stadium with a tenant that he’s currently evicting, having a tenantless stadium which is losing money can’t surely be on his wish list.

id guess the chances are higher that he wants us - just a case of on his terms

He’s far too clever a business man to just buy something by bidding for it SB, well except for the Arena but that was because he needed it for his convoluted plan to buy the club by not buying them when they were for sale, instead sending William Storey in as a decoy while Gary Hoffman snuck in round the back.

This is why you’re not a billionaire.

No - as long as he’s got a cash cow for his tacky jumble sale of a shop (he has, in the CBS) he will be satisfied

it’s almost like these ‘Deluded Geordies’ were right and the blokes a Cnut…

My take is this eviction notice is what has to happen legally, no way will ccfc be barred from playing at the CBS either this season or future seasons. Our new apparent owner will cough up the cost and pass it on to us, the fans through ticket prices.

Like most conspiracy theories someone makes something up and then others repeat it and once enough people say it’s so it is so irrespective of any evidence. Then they say you are narrow minded and it’s just common sense to put it all together in the precise way that they wish to

Exactly - sadly I think a fair few posters managed to convince themselves that CCFC was what MA was interested in above all else when it clearly isn’t the case.
