Millwall only given 1800 tickets and they have sold out. States on their Website that this is the total allocation and no more tickets will be available!!! Strange!! Can see a few travelling without tickets!!! #couldbefun

Can't go to this game and to be honest I'm not that worried, especially as my 7 year old might not enjoy this one.

Ditched my season ticket and got a box for family and friends for this one. Hopefully I'm in the safest place away from the animals The last time they came to the Ricoh I recall watching them throw a steward down the stairs!

Saw a lad tweeting a club to slate them about how can they say we need all the revenues if were restricting Millwall to 1800 tickets, that we must be loaded then.

They club responded that it's entirely the police's decision....

I remember playing them in FA cup at HR, they filled the away end and it kicked off in town before and after. Also down far gosford street and on sky blue way, it was mayhem that night.

We were given an extra 300, but they have also gone, so we have now sold full allocation of 1,900, we could easily shift an extra 1-2,000

Shame as there are have loads that are after tickets and your stadium won't be a sell out, likely to be a fair few that will still travel. Seems plod doesn't want large numbers of Millwall there - as has happened a few times this season.

Yes we still operate a membership scheme where every away fan HAS to be a season ticket holder / member.

1 ticket per member or ST holder. Fleetwood away, midweek match, where we really didn't have much demand for tickets it was still membership only.

Millwall are normally ok, think it kicked off at the Ricoh last time they were here when one of our tough guys at the Wheatsheaf threw a brick through the window of a special bus taking them back to the train station and then retreated inside and barricaded the doors when they got off. My betting is that pub will be not so full that day.

Also they should give them extra tickets, better having a 1000 or so extra inside the ground than a couple of dozen marauding round the town for 2 hours.

Let them have as many as they want. Hopefully, we'll get a last minute winner, they'll invade the pitch...and the league will dock them points allowing us to finish top six :D

Sounds more plausible than us going up by winning games.

The police shouldn't have any influence on how we sell tickets as long as the safety certificates for the stadium are in place. For some people they see 'Police decision' or 'health & safety' and they take it as some kind of gospel that can't be challenged.

If the police are blocking the club from selling tickets can we claim compensation off them?

Police will always take the piss. Our game away at Oldham was called off pretty late on. A few decided to go to the Man City match and were turned away at the turnstiles and told it was on Police advice.

They asked for clarification from Millwall when they got back. This was from the Millwall Supporters Club meeting. "Andy" is Andy Ambler. Millwall's CEO

Man City not admitting Supporters following Oldham Postponement
Andy confirmed that the Police had sent messages to all grounds telling them not to admit Millwall fans to the ground. The position of the police was very simple, given the Millwall fans’ reputation once the Millwall match was postponed they wanted Millwall back on the road to London as soon as possible. Man City decided to operate what the police had said.

So when at football plod can and will do exactly as they please - and they wonder why they are despised

Do they have to get separate safety certificates signed off before each fixture? If so, the police will be one of those signatories.

Anyone know?

I'm sure the club have challenged the decision, they will want/need every piece of income they can get given were below the break even attendance figures now.

Sisu should take the police to court as well for loss of earnings:whistle:

Have the football supporters federation said anything about this sort of treatment for your fans? I'd be tempted to look into legal action. I can't see how it is right to block all supporters of a particular team from attending games, including games they aren't even playing in.

What I don't get is why so many of them want to come and watch us, we're not a scratch on the team that stuffed them at the start of the season, don't they only get about 8K at home

Was this not a Friday evening game at Highfield road, millwall we're going for promotion from championship. Came and did a few pubs in the city... I recall the brew and baker being full of millwall from 5pm same as old ball too.
Around 2002 time I think and lost 1-0

Remember back when we all watched from behind fences and away fans were kept in at the end. I recall one season Millwall came to HR and someone thought it would be the perfect match to test letting everyone out at the same time!
