Couple of things rewatching the game on ifollow this morning that I didn't appreciate at the game yest, the push on Wright was pretty significant and knocked him completely off balance (unless that's this normal shooting style...). Ref in a great position too... -

And the blatant Millwall offside when the shot hit Bradshaw was onside -

Yeah my IPTV stream for some reason never has City commentary so unusually watch without rather than the terrible oppo comma but really enjoyed yesterday. I wonder if it’s a London thing with more broadcasting talent floating about at that level.

i.dont think the blatent offside is on from that picture tbh.

Aren't the millwall tv just the best , complementary all game about our players and team
Probably the best Away commentary I have heard for sometime. Even got corrected about us being ' lucky' with the rebounds. Usual turn it off when listing to some of the commentary, absolute morons, WBA and QPR spring to mind.

JDS doesn’t make the run and pass to Jamie Allen that that Bidwell did. COH doesn’t take the shot that Allen does leading to Sakamoto’s goal.

The atmosphere was awful in both the home and away ends tbf - we only perked up in the second half.

Some of the hysteria about Millwall fans in the weeks before the game was laughable, people saying you shouldn’t wear colours or go in pubs anywhere near the ground….maybe I should feel lucky to have survived but we had a great day drinking in Bermondsey.

The noise from our support, home and away, has been a real drop off from last season. Yesterday we were fairly quiet. Nothing like the last two seasons where it was constant.

JD (no S) has some of the best key passing stats among fullbacks in the league doesn’t he? Don’t get why we have to put down a player to praise another tbh

We all know why this is, right? I see you. Oh and why don’t you like Hudlin? I see you. Those who criticise others…..

Edit: I’m sure you are not prejudiced in any way but accusing someone on such spurious grounds isn’t cool. See my point?
The difference was I was clearly joking, hence why I put … afterwards but nice try, moron

Yep we were drinking round Borough market. Cracking pubs round there one of my best away days

Interesting reading the Millwall forum about tourists at their club.

Totally agree that it's truly saturated and gentrificatied now.

We did the walk from Canada Water there and back. It's a walk I did once maybe 15/20 years ago. Back then, it was petrifying. Millwall fans hanging around waiting for everyone and anyone.

Yesterday, I barely saw a Millwall fan. The atmosphere in the ground was horrendous.

It's a really good away day now they let you have the entire end. The views are great and the ticket price was reasonable. It is not this 'tough place to go' anymore.
I walked from Canada Water as well, popped in The Spoons for one on the way down and was completely fine - leaving was fine as well

You can see why it has the reputation it has, the ‘estates’ you have to walk through are quite intimidating but unless they pull West Ham or Chelsea in a cup draw I doubt it’ll ever be really bad again

Go there and don’t gob off/go looking for it you’ll be fine

If carlsberg did away days…..
The George inn, the old kings head and bunch of grapes were visited and some great real ales on tap. The walk from Canada Water to the stadium pretty easy really, I liked the way the met police just have a couple of officers every now and again along the route.
No escort needed in all a great day to be Skyblue!!

I didn't manage to make it out for pre-match beers as was hanging from Friday night in London. I went in hospitality and everyone was friendly in there. Thought there was a nice buzz outside the ground. I walked down from Canada Water on my own and spoke to a few fans en route. Interestingly they were (separately) Danes, Dutch and Germans - all in London for a football weekend - apart from an older father and son who were Londoners. Got a bus from Old Kent Rd to Borough on way home then straight up to Euston where the pub by the station was full of Cov fans. Cracking day.
