Is this new effervescent optimism available to buy on Amazon and how much is it a bottle?

Let's see where we are and how we are doing after Lampard has had 10 or so games on charge.

Hope he's a big success, but let's wait and see.
I agreed with you on the way Robins was disposed of. I also had my worries about Lampard. But you must be a pessimistic type of person not to be lifted by the game yesterday. Can't remember the last time we were so solid at the back. How many shots did they have on target? We could have easily got 3 or more. We won with a swagger. This was away to a side unbeaten in 9.

You need to let go of the past. Enjoy the journey. The good feeling I used to have is back. If you offered me 4 points from the last 2 games I would have snatched your hand off. The improvement is clear to see. First game I've really enjoyed for ages.

This division is so tight after the top 3 places because of teams being inconsistent I wouldn't be surprised if we were in the top 6 by mid January. And if we can strengthen a little in January anything is possible.

I am anything but a pessimist.

I didn't see the game yesterday. Obviously delighted we won, but we have been here before. Starts off really well and then tapers off, when a new manager comes in.

So, let's just give it time and see what happens.

We do need to strengthen in January. Some astute signings and we'll be fine.

It wasn't just the performance. Most shots against were from distance that bothered the roof of the stand more than Collins. A good solid defence like we haven't seen for ages. We all know this team has goals in it. If it wasn't for our sloppy defence we would already be in contention for the top 6.

I got a good feeling about Lampard yesterday. You could see that he enjoyed the interaction with us. The place was buzzing.

The only way is up.

There were a few things i took from yesterdays performance.

We won the game with our first half performance. We controlled the ball and the game really well in the first half without creating a lot. This wasn’t very evident until the second half when they really struggled to deal with us and the wind.

Mason-Clark was very good, he pushed forward and generally had 2 men in front of him every time so didnt just go at them but found the spare man , usually Rudoni 1st half, for them to push on too.

It was clearly a four on Collins. Could he have done better and been stronger? Yes. But was still a foul.

When Eccles came on we looked far more fluid in midfield and he helped us up the tempo with our passing and moving forward.

Finally, i have come to see why we needed a change in manager after today. I was a staunch supporter of Robins and he still had credit in the bank for me but the interaction of the players and Lampard at the end showed that something probably wasnt right towards the end of Robins reign.
I know its out first win for a bit but Lampard seemed to be a lot closer with the players which helps with trust and confidence going forwards.

Well, yeah. Hope he maintains it.

We'll have to see if it continues if we say lose 2 or 3 on the trot.

It's always good to see a connection between manager and players isn't it

It was an improvement yesterday, an important and deserved 3 points. I'm glad it was EMC that scored so he could move on from that miss.

A positive step in the right direction but a long way to go. There were quite a few times where we were doing something good but then made a terrible pass or lapse in concentration. Which would have been typical of this season and could have undone all the good work.

The media circus is rank though, every time I read or hear Frank Lampards Coventry City. A little bit of sick comes up, its every f*cking time Cov is mentioned.

I like the fact that Frank said he needed to see more of the squad in action hence making the changes - he also mentioned getting the ball moved quicker - at times in the first half the back 3 ground the movement to a halt giving Millwall time to
Man mark pretty well everyone creating hospital passes into midfield and the inevitable consequence of having to
Pass back and start again - this also
Lead to Saka and emc being pinned to the touch line and facing 3-4 Millwall players - it improved in the second half

They do need to improve the throw in procedure - one time I think it was Torp ran away from the thrower into a gap and nearly created a great chance when the ball was thrown into his path - so much better

He’s still fucking shit, yes he scored, so does a smack head with a tenner. Your wife must be ugly as fuck if you’re that easily pleased. 👍🏼🐷😅
2 Goals by December for £5Million and you’re happy? Should we put the ashtray on your missus back or arse? #bike

I was probably a bit harsh in my responses but everytime any questions are put to our recruitment, the usuals round up and take it personally or tell you to shut up… on a forum.

I hope EMC, Kitching etc come good… but for me it’s staggering at how much money has been spent on players that are 25 years old and don’t look ready for the Championship. I hope I’m wrong long term but in the short term I think they’re money badly spent.

EMC had a decent game yesterday but two decent games by December isn’t good enough IMO but that seems to cause big personal offence.

Since the summer the direction of the club has pissed me off and the treatment of Robins was staggeringly bad.

I don’t rate our owner, (I think he’s a massive **** in fact), recruitment, coaches and I like Lampard but I never wanted him over Robins, so I guess I always will be negative in some eyes.

I apologise, I shouldn’t have been so creative in my replies and just left it at fuck off.

Players in needs of a song:
EMC (logical song by supertramp)
Rudi (Ruby by kaiser cheifs)
Bassette (bye bye bye by NSYNC)

New song for players already with one:
Lati (Latibeaudiere we’ll just call you joel)
Torp (more lyrics to his song rather than the original songs)
Thomas and Kitching (need their own songs)

If signing Kitching is one of your major issues, I've got bad news about Robins mate.

Lots of people completely missed this. Some posters saying the first half we weren’t very good.

Millwall had few chances (ignoring the debatable goal) and spent most of the half running after the ball, which caused them to tire early and be way less effective second half.

Yes it was a borefest first half, but we retained possession well and played the “long game”.

You know the point I’m making, EMC, Asante, Kitching etc, noticeable money spent on 25 year olds that don’t look ready or good enough IMO.

Two out of three of them are relatively new signings and EMC gets in great positions, he’ll do well (and is at the moment).

Jury still out on BTA and after that performance yesterday I think Kitching is going to struggle to get back in if the defence continues in that vein.

I think you are wrong on EMC & the owner.
But we'll done for apologising, that is good form.

Well done apologising, we all have different expectations of our players, but we all still want the team to do well.

And that’s fine, it’s opinions. Id have took a punt on EMC for £500K but he was built up with trying to get him in January and I’ve been really disappointed.

I am apologising for any offence I caused yesterday.

It’s the match thread. It should be like a medieval battle every week, that’s when it’s at its best!

No he’s nothing like Boosh

He makes outrageous accusations then comes down in the morning

Another poster accused of child sexual fantasies I see - it’s a recurring - almost subliminal - theme from him

Just feed the pass
To Ephron Mason Clarke ❤️
Those words or the variation below could be sung to the Just sold my car jingle.😁

"Just cross the ball
To Ephron Mason Clark"

*I'm sure others on here must have already picked up on this.
