Shipley has the one thing O'Hare doesn't. If we could extract Shipley's shooting and inject it into O'Hare we'd have an absolute gem.
I like Shipley. I often feel like I'm on my own with this, but I still think there's a decent player in there and he's got a happy knack of chipping in with goals. I don't think he's as good as COH though... apart from shooting maybe...
Shipleys best asset is his shooting. Its why I've been so frustrated all season because he's bottled shooting all season. Maybe his enforced break and my shushing thread has given him a kick up the arse

Yes, thought this for a little while.Might be a mad suggestion but do you reckon it might be worth retraining Shipley as a striker? He’s one of the best finishers at the club and he’d have to do a lot less defensive work

Wouldn't say Milwall are on the beach, unless it's a very aggressive petulant one.I'm not going to have a go at this point because he's scored two goals and fair play to him for it. I'm genuinely happy for him.
But yes, you are right. He has been well below par all season, and a couple of decent strikes against two teams who are on the beach doesn't really mean a lot.
