Pitch was poor tonight. Gradually been getting worse but there were some real bobbly patches. That didn't help. Dread to think what it will be like in a few weeks.

Oh Clint - unless you've got about £6m-10m to spare you can't expect to pick up 4 decent players, and unless you've just sold a Brereton for £20m or are in receipt of parachute payments, no club in the league can do that (much as we'd like it to be us)

I'd rather have a player who worries the opposition, puts them on the back foot and creates space for our other players.Kane had his worst performance by a mile, truly shocking. But i also have to agree re: Maatsen, he looks so dangerous but just isn't. His final pass and decision making is pretty poor. He rarely gets himself into the crossing positions, and has this habit of cutting inside and narrowing play.
Kane was truly dreadful but he kept showing and was putting in some dangerous crosses.

Sounds like it's been quite shit for us too , 11 trained together, then players put in and out , close contacts , few players out for a week ... just all over the show tbh and definitely a possible factor into the performance
