I condem you for trying to encourage people to post anti thorn rhetoric. shame on you.
What gaz is actually doing by titling this thread minority is attempting to add credence to the idea that there are more Pro Andy Thorn and Anti Andy Thorn.

When the managerial merry go round is in full swing, Thorn who is comparaatively poorly paid, with only a 12 month rolling contract ie no job security, he will attract no interest from Lge1 or Lge 2 clubs because he has had limited experience but with a win ratio that is shocking. The football community can see what many of our fans can't - he has done nothing to demonstrate that he is a good football manager, he could become a good manager like Jeffers could become a top striker but there is no evidence to support either just heart ruling over heads.

fergie basically said thorn was a good manager and a lot of our ex players say you cant judge thorn as he hasn't had the tools to show what he can do as a manager, they say he could be a great manager or he could be a awful manager but we wont find out with sisu are in charge or unless they give him the proper tools

We are neither losing, nor winning. Has no one ever put the exact same statement I referred to directly to you before? Just once? How did that resolve, several pages of tired old bullshit ('discussion') later? It is the close season. We are not carrying on losing. Wind it in, fisherman.

While I do not believe that Andy Thorn is a good manager he is the best we can get at the moment. He has as much experience as Carsley or Shaw, who are the only two realistic targets in my opinion. That's why we have and will stick with him.

I don't think he is the best we could get. Without knowing what goes on behind the scenes we will never know.
I can guarantee that if we advertised the job we would get an applicant with better management qualities than Thorn.
