We must be the only club in the world where some of the fans are upset the club is taking 6500 fans to an away game.
I think I have read it all now, good god some people just can not be happy
Sadly not. Knocking it down after Christmas. They are now placing away fans in that tiny seated area.
Probably the same as fans who are unhappy about other fans going to games.
They won't be able to resist throwing/spitting on the folk below:jerkit:Shame wolves will take more than us due to the top tier.
your deliberately missing his point.
he is asking why mk dons is being treated as bigger than other away games this season. why is it getting such a huge following?
Shame wolves will take more than us due to the top tier.
Correct.
For the record, we've already had the "biggest" away game of the season.....at top of the table midlands rivals big club wolves......
...just cos lots of people are going, don't make it a big game.....its just a bog standard away game at a tin-pot franchise club with zero heritage or history....
big game....my arse!
Why not open for us? Surely we could get another couple of thousand over the next week.
We usualy sell out our away tickets so this is just a chance for more fans to watch the team. Not a cup finial or a particularly important game
We, (the not so regulars) will surely feel humbled to be sharing your company. We will also be in awe at your infinite repertoire. Please teach us, oh great chanting one. :thinking about:I'm more excited for Hartlepool.
Proper ground like Bradford last week, non stop singing for fans who are away each week.
I can guarantee 'PUSB' will be sung 134 times next week at MK, plus maybe one or two In our Coventry homes.
Standard big following = 2/3 different songs sung.

I think you'll find it's long been that way, regardless of size of following. I personally hate the sky blue song for its repetition. I've said it before and it pains me to say it, but I think on the whole we are a pretty timid and unimaginative bunch. Many times over the years I've tried to get new songs/chants going (often daft/mildly amusing but none involving incestuous relations) even reprising some old ones from the 1970's but it would appear you can't beat the two old favourites!I'm not putting anyone down for coming, but it does seem that when we take a big following that the range of songs is incredibly limited.
How about 6 thousand of us singing " Timmy fisher Timmy fisher what's it like to see a crowd.

Not sure that's entirely correct mate, Walsall & Wolves we sold out and now MK dons, we took a big following to Vale but I don't think it was sold out.
I thought we could have had another 800 tickets for Wolves but we didn't sell the earlier allocations quick enough, so strictly speaking we didn't sell it out.

Milton Keynes is another three points up for grabs; no more no less. It's no bigger than the Tranmere or Rotherham games coming up. It is some what ironic that most people choose this as their away day however; happily filling the coppers of the so very wrong franchise club.
It was the biggest away following at Wolves in years. They didn't give that many even when in the PL. Wolves fans were very surprised the club opened up the extra area for us, so I'm not sure how that equates to not selling out. The last batch of tickets we had sold in no time.
Maybe it was jusy heresay but I distinctly remember discussion about another 800 to make the allocation upto 800 but by the time we'd sold the 3,300 it was too late.
Not knocking our away support btw, its the 6th highest outside the PL isn't it? Great effort.
It is bigger than the next two games at sixfields as fisher will see the fans will travel but not to northampton. Also it is going to be the biggest following this season so is BIGGER than games at sixfields.Milton Keynes is another three points up for grabs; no more no less. Just because every game is worth 3 points doesn't mean that (as a supporter) you should look forward to every game equally. That is absurd. It is a day out that people are looking forward to, for a variety of reasons. Get over it and spare us all this 'irony' nonsense.
its not a big game at all,why has it been adopted as the "must see" game by away following? thats not a criticism jsut a genuine question
if we get 6pts from tranmere, rotheram and mk dons up next,id be happy with 6 pts
