What is the correct price level to keep fans happy and maximise revenue for this 4th round tie? Based on demand and the 5th round at stake I think £25 adults, £15 conc, £5 under 12’s is about right.

£15-£20 for Adults, £8-£10 for concessions and £5 for kids would be fair pricing

For their last FA Cup tie at home it was £12 in advance for Adults and £15 on the day, if they could keep to that it would be brilliant.

Would be nice but cant see it having seen our price increase from round 1 and 2 (i know we had premier league opposition last round and all that)

It is now down to the home team only to set the price, so we'll just have to accept what they decide

If it's £25 you may as well sack any plans for a huge following.

The bandwagon fans only go if:

Tickets are £15 or less
It's a one off game (Wembley, semi final, top 6 team)
Of if they get given a spaceship to travel to the match.

Lets just throw this little gem into the melting pot...............Many economic studies of late indicate that retired/ or otherwise persons over the age of 60 often have a lot more disposable income than the generation below them and certainly more than the younger generations. That same generation had many benefits available to them that say the under 30's could never access now in their lifetimes. Why does this rather well off segment of society still get all these concessions when really they would be fairer aimed at the generation currently trying to pay off a mortgage and bringing up kids of school age etc............just a thought like.............stands back and waits for a torrent of abuse !

Funnily enough I am one of this group, over 60 but still working
I don't take any of the concessions like free travel, reduced entry prices etc on the basis that I don't currently need the reductions
Just my own approach, I don't say others should do the same but it's what I'm comfortable with

Often have a lot more disposable income?

But what about those who don't have? What about those that don't have that spare income and can no longer obtain work because of their age?

I'm sure there are many who do have a lot of disposable income, but then there are a great deal who don't.

The only way anything like that could work is if it is means tested, otherwise you could push some of the less well off over 60's into poverty.

Was talking to my Dad about this yesterday. We live under two miles, that's UNDER TWO MILES from my son's school, yet it costs us £130 per term for a bus there and back. He goes by bus because there are tons of busy roads between here and there. My Dad has a free bus pass, which he uses - fair enough. A lot of baby boomers will get a free bus pass they will never use. I reckon they should means test bus passes, etc and let other groups, school kids, low waged, unemployed have the chance of free travel instead. Pisses me off.

Where do you live exactly?

In the West Midlands there is no free travel until you are 67.

I'm in much the same boat, yet to take pensions and still working (part time now), but there is clearly a wide variation some people don't worry about pensions, spend whatever was coming in and consequently end up with very a low income late in life, foolish but it happens. There are also quite a few unfortunate people who become infirm and can't work so any plans they may have had are all messed up.

Often, but not always ;)
Having said that, giving concessions to people purely on the basis of age is always going to be a blunt instrument, and I don't think there's an easy answer. Where exactly do you set the line - cheap tickets extended to the under-25's? Under-30's? I suggest cool kid's ticket up to 35, then old fart's ticket from 36, and we'd all be happy.

I'd personally be happy if it was 67 nationwide
It should be really but it would take a brave politician to do this in areas like London where it's currently 60
Really it shouldn't ever be below the age at which pensions start

I think you maybe onto something in perhaps things { Adults/ Concessions } could at least be met half way and with the demography at matches these days, I reckon the clubs would actually benefit from such a move.
