Is everyone pissed or smoking something on here......sisu have got as much chance of being granted planning permission anywhere in cov/warks than i have of shagging shakira .....they're bluffing for gods sake
I was led to believe that the new owners of the greyhound lease at Brandon had to guarantee the Greyhound Association 5 years continous use of Brandon, before they sanctioned the re-opening of greyhounds at Brandon again. Also when Mick Horton bought the Coventry Bees off Sandhu,he also bought all of the Bees assets, which amount to a considerable number of riders.Birmingham's team include Bomber,Josh Auty and Smolinski who are all Coventry owned assets.Indeed it is hard to imagine that in a cash strapped sport Horton would have paid all that money for all of the Bees assets without some guarantee of continued use of Brandon.I might be wrong on this but didn't fisher say that they were looking at a " brown field site" ie a piece of land that has a building on it which is no longer used for it's original purpose or land previously used for industrial purposes..id say that rules brandon out.
Ive shagged shakira,, right hairy arsehole!!
Yet again, as I mentioned earlier, I will not support a team if Coventry city FC go bust. That is the only team I will support, and follow them wherever we play. And going on as if I'm being stupid mentioning Walsall not being it, you clearly weren't at the forum as every 2nd person was shouting the odds about Walsall

There is absolutely no way a pitch could be accomodated inside the track, plus the close proximity of houses in Speedway lane, would surely preclude the building of new stands which block out sunlight onto there house frontages. The whole place would have to be pulled down, and would hardly help endear SISU to motor sport fans.
Yes exactly, but in the form of a money making business where you need a stadium, to rent a stadium and never have an option to buy a stake in order to maintain profit, your best bet is to move elsewhere
Quote from ACL, 'the doors are still open' this was made a couple of weeks ago, current I think.
You're completely right, but you consider £1.2m immediately deducted off the profit of those 11,000 tickets, compared with say £200k on 4000-5000 sales at Birmingham, and suddenly the pendulum has swung
Yup their lawyer made it.
Dim Trisha ,Who is she?? Eh.It seems Fishers comment about Sheffield Wednesday has hit Owlstalk:
>> Forum Post Link <<
They seem pleased!
Could it be Adam Bradley?
I'm not going to mention any names as Tim Fisher can't even announce that Brandon has been agreed yet, but it's at an incredibly advanced stage
Yeah we don't want it, but the council arent willing to negotiate a deal to allow us to feasibly play at the Ricoh, so what other choice do we have but to look elsewhere?
lmao!
Ah just think of all those city fans who live in other countries (some as far away as America and Australia) who obviously can't come to every cov game because their geographical positioning and distance prohibits it. Those city fans who therefore wouldn't consider buying a season ticket because there wouldn't be a point and you've just turned around and told them they're not real fans.
You really need to think about what your typing before you post it for everyone to see itIt doesn't make you look (or sound) very intelligent. Just because someone hasn't bought a season ticket does not make them any less of a true fan...but I'm sure you'll go on believing what you posted is correct so don't let me stop you...continue on with your deluded view of how people should or shouldn't support a football club
Re Brandon. The owner, Mr Sandhu, has been trying to sell the freehold for a while. The sale was with the current tenants in place. What happens to the Bees and stock car racing? They would have to be compensated or found alternative grounds, so, probably a non starter.

Kid. Your board member 'friend' who just may have told you too much is not going to be happy when he reads this. I suspect you are the son of one of them. Your heart may be in the right place but this is something your dad has struggled with so take my advice and ease off. Many on here view SISU as the reason for our failures on and off the pitch and the demise of the club. To even think about a 600k purchase of Brandon is perceived by many laughable in that 600k would just about buy the drive and car park.
That would fit perfectly, buy the land as part of the bluff. All future purchases of land fall into the AVRO's debenture so can't be touched.
Move the club to Birmingham or wherever.
Keep the bees there and hope ACL crumble and ghe council ask SISU to come back.
Sell Brandon AVRO get their money back.
(Big gamble with Cov City's future as I don't think ACL or will actually crumble)
I'm hardly asking people to confide in me, I'm making a point as to what's really going in behind this wall of silence and blocking answers, please fucking forgive me for raising a point. Everyone pleads for clarity, you give them answers, and that makes you a lying twat, and an idiot, decide what you actually want as fans, and any genius who says SISU pack your bags and go, learn about business before you speak. You don't just wipe off £70m without trying to recoop it
Don't call me kid and try and patronise me, and no my dad isn't anything to do with the club, why would I post a lie on here? I've posted what I've been informed by someone apparently in the know
So why the fuck did you just try correcting me by saying that the current rent is £400k?
And no, I'm not a SISU employee, I didn't turn down a deal, smart arse
Yeah we don't want it, but the council arent willing to negotiate a deal to allow us to feasibly play at the Ricoh, so what other choice do we have but to look elsewhere?

I know your not a SISU employee, in fact I'm pretty sure your not anybody's employee.
I think you find it comes under public order the police could objectJust listening to last nights coverage. Why was John more concerned about Policing?
Yes, it would be an increase risk of rival fans clashing, but is that really the most important thing to be questioning?
I'm not going to mention any names as Tim Fisher can't even announce that Brandon has been agreed yet, but it's at an incredibly advanced stage
I believe every word Fisher says do I?, that's new to me, I just believe that pinning problems which have nothing to do with SISU, on them, we might aswell start a new witch hunt, gives cov fans something to do
