Go for it, write to Hislop.
I've been amazed by some of t he things he's said over the last few years, not just on Twitter but when he appears on CWR. I think he is the absolute worst kind of politician; cannot see the wood for the trees.
Why on earth pump all that money into a station next to a massive stadium and shopping complex which is then useless for either purpose?
Yes...good idea.
It would be a good follow up for the Eye after their rotten borough piece.....
....we certainly could do with a bit of a spot-light shining on all this council incompetence/skulduggery/lies*
Done!

Time flies and all that and I suppose if electrification really did take place in 2017 then it's not the end of the world but lets say this dragged on for another few years on top then it's plain ridiculous. The thing that grieves me most is that it appears the real money goes to London and the rest to the so called 7 core Cities. The amount spent on Cross rail and other London projects make this look like the results of a collection at a coffee and cup cake party.
"....and Smith must score!"How can we compete with mighty Brighton the 1910 Charity Shield winners, we maybe a tinpot club but at least we have a pot in the cupboard and our clubs most famous moment is not a bloke who couldn't score past Gary Bailey in the cup final.
Nick I think it is probably beyond the brain power of this person.
There are other improvements due in 2017, which will allow two trains an hour and there are also plans to electrify the line.
They will respond with at least more carriages if they have any business sense. Also the drop in travellers at weekends should enable them to reschedule trains. Once the stations open and demand starts they will ramp up. IMHO
Ha ha don't you love those articles, shows we're bigger than wasps despite our lower attendances.

Of course we are and always will be despite what Italia Tony will tell you.
Where have I ever said that then? Show me.
Just like how you label others as being sympathetic towards Sisu, despite having no evidence at all.
I will happily say that Sisu have been a disaster for the club. Come on Tony, admit that the council have done wrong by your football club

Nowhere then. Just mouthing off shit as always.
He's like a little kid on twitter. You either agree with him or you're against there being a train station at all. He can't seem to comprehend that people would actually like trains to stop at the station.
If this was always the plan, that the grant money had to be spent by a certain time which was a couple of years ahead of trains being available, then that should have been clearly communicated from day one. Sure people would have thought it was a bit odd but it would be far better than getting to this point and being a laughing stock.
just been by the ricoh - The train station has Alton Towers style zig zag queuing barriers
This is all for 75 people an hour
The zig zags will hold i would say 200
so they are expecting people to queue in these zig zags for 3 hours
total cock up
Don't think he mentioned match day?No its closed on match days until London Midland can sort it out.
Don't think he mentioned match day?
I bonded with the conductor.
Exactly, at the very least there should be a mechanism for the grant to be revoked and public money returned if certain key services aren't delivered.
Was he a good shag?
Ha ironic. Starting to think this is a parody account. The fight against CCC goes on.

In addition, the Ricoh Arena will also have a new train station to be completed next year further improving access to the venue, with shuttle trains every 10 mins from Coventry Station directly to and from the Ricoh Arena
[h=3]Wasps today announces a series of planned upgrades at the Ricoh Arena over the coming months, which will improve access, customer experience and increase footfall.[/h]Located within two hours of 75% of the country, access to Wasps’ new home will be further enhanced in June 2015 when a railway station opens on-site at the Ricoh Arena with direct links to Coventry and Nuneaton railway stations.
