Don’t think it’s got anything to do with trying to stiff the charity just a case of economics the gates aren’t big enough to warrant opening the whole ground so it saves money keeping them closed unless they know they are going to get a big enough crowd

So that’s a Coventry charity, a football club and users of a Henley community facility stiffed then. Nice contribution to the locality.

How long before you and others admit this project has failed? Relegation?

Is relegation and then a easy promotion year any good surely being a bottom feeder for many years would hurt equally if not more, don’t forget most of these idiots went to see winning rugby

Relegation means no European matches, no high profile opposition to market. Even the ‘Christmas Cracker’ would be a tough sell.

It’s not something that is being talked about between fans but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening

Shows a level of naivety from the charity who should have included a minimum payment every year as it was obvious to most which stand the free tickets would be given out in first and always the first to close off.

Do they even get into Europe from the bottom two/three I don’t know much about rugby just look for their results to hope they have lost

Was Richardson originally part of a 6 man consortium when looking to buy Wasps - the others main interest being the playing side and his being property development which was the only reason he bought into the original arrangement?

It is strange that all tweets have gone.
Tweets a lot about council and issues related to illegal parking tickets issued etc.
However, in last few days, has gone to town on the council in relation to the guy being removed from the planning panel.
Called a "local Reporter" out for using a disabled blue badge not belonging to them and stated last night that the new year would reveal that the investigation into Wasps book cooking would reveal interesting findings in the new year!
Would not surprise me if somebody with a legal sway may have inboxed the account!!.... the triumvirate of wasps/council/Gilbert probably quite sensitive!!!
They’re back up and running and hinting about wasps cooked books being outed soon.

Saracens are winning every week. It will be a slug fest between the insects and Leicester for bottom place.
Agreed. The scrap to go down will be between W***s, Leicester and possibly London Irish. Saracens are expected to claw back the deficit to almost reaching the top four.

I was at a Boxing Day party and the conversation turned to Wasps financial situation. Quite refreshing to hear everyone singing from the same hym sheet with their utter distain for wasps and everything about them.

if Richardson the w***s chairman could of heard the conversation taking place I think the penny would of dropped that w***s dream has failed.

It pains me to say it, but I’d have my money on Wasps to stay up rather than go down... they deserved their win last night against one of the better sides in the division, and will pick up enough to stay up with a degree of comfort. I doubt they will challenge the top half though unless last night spurs them onto a huge run (which it might).

(talking purely from a playing point of view.... I’m sure I don’t need to state that I hope their “Coventry project” goes monumentally tits-up ASAP......)

He only has to look at his own clubs social media. Every time they post anything its met with people telling them to go back to London. There's tumbleweed from their own fans. Think the number of actual supporters is low and sinking.

I mean our social media team gets some stick and has to deal with some complete idiots but at least people are responding and interacting, even when were down in the third tier.

I;m following the Quins v Leicester game (just because i'm so anti-Wasps) 20-13 to Quins ear;y second half. Come on Leicester (not something I'd ever post on this forum!)

I agree, but I've never followed their fortunes as closely before. Really need the rugby gods to do us a favour.

Leicester 5 points behind Wasps.75k At Twickenham for this game. Not sure why Twickenham.

They play a few premier league fixtures at Twickenham over the season. Seems a bit random, but the clubs involved and the fans seem to like it and it definitely makes a bit of money.

Handy for the true Wasps fans of course, less so for the franchise ones...
