Sisus fault as we have no fitness manager
No. You've answered why here! Can we not bring into consideration that this was our 3rd game in 6 days, 4th in 10? And, yes I know MK Dons are in a similar situation but I doubt they will have had to do as much work as we did against Arsenal, and also their style of play and retention of the ball means that they are naturally using less energy throughout the game.
They're unfit because training under thorn was a holiday camp.
MMM, let it go.
Prejudice is as prejudice does.
Your logic is wasted.
Callum Ball & John Fleck both look a couple of stone overweight.
McSheffrey mopes about like he's in his 40's, and I'm sure Adam Barton is stuck in slow motion.
Annoyjng when you consider that this is their daily job and all they're working towards.
That's wholly conjecture on your part, peddled, embellished and retold by those who see him as the devil on earth himself.
In the first game after Thorn's departure - the Birmingham Cup game - we more than matched a higher division team over 90 minutes and throughout extra time. No-one - and I mean not a soul - made any accusations of a lack of fitness at that point. Moreover, Thorn was widely criticised due to an excessive pre-season schedule when he said he wanted the start the season with fitter players; with many on here accusing him of over-working the players which would give rise to them starting the season exhausted.
Finally, it's now some 6 weeks since he parted company with us; and Ball - if he's anything to do by - has piled on timber in that time, as in stark contrast to the trend you insinuate
Yet again - lazy thinking and an easy finger pointed at 'the fat bloke'
One game isn't a trend, Baker is evidence of that, it's an anomoly.
A trend is taking the lead, then losing the lead(and often the game) as the game wears on.
Which has been more common this season(or indeed last season)?.

It's not anomalous, dear chap. That's a deviation from the norm. You can't deviate from being unfit to being fit for one game. Fitness is a condition, not happenchance.
I agree on the issue of losing leads though. But this is equally an output from having players lacking in confidence, or thinner squads which are over-run by opposition with stronger benches to change things with. This and fitness. I'm not saying comparative fitness wasn't a issue last season. But to place the whole blame on this one issue is so binary as to be blind to reason
More patronising waffle.
there are some players clearly not fit ......... But largely they are the players who did not get a full pre season in due to injury, not being here, or been injured since the start of the season. However the lack of fitness in the most part is not physical it is mental.
we have a bunch of players who give it a go, give what they think is 100% but when the going gets tough do not have as a group a collective mental toughness to get through. One or two like mcgoldrick know they can push that extra bit, are confident from past experiences, have desire to be better and it shows.
The more senior players seem to be accustomed to failure, have become too comfortable with it, have a mind set of "whats the point we will lose any way" and it is rubbing off on the rest of the squad. Their mental weakness drains the other players and puts extra pressure & frustration on the newer or younger players
our leaders (such as they are) in the squad are not strong vocal or confident, they work but dont believe, but that lack of belief drains all desire to do better when there is a knock back ........ It looks like they are not working hard when in actual fact physically they are ...... But mentally they have given up. Top sportsmen win games by being mentally fit ..... There is no great difference in physical fitness.
if your mind isnt at it then doesnt matter who trained you pre season, or what extra work you put in ...... You will fail against opposition that are mentally better focussed and confident
robins has to change the mind set, and my guess is that in the not too distant future there are going to be some casualties amongst the more senior players from the decisions he makes......... Not before time either.
The whole malaise has taken months even years to get to...... In that time all the players, coaches, management have contributed to it (including but not only at).......... Mr has a very tough job to turn it around and it wont be done in a couple of weeks
Yet again - lazy thinking and an easy finger pointed at 'the fat bloke'
Quick questions as I wasn't at last nights game - were the team booed off at the end? If they were, was it a majority booing or just a select few?
