Moving Threads (1 Viewer)

Can the mods be a little less gung-ho moving threads constantly. It's getting a little silly chasing stuff round the different boards that should never have been moved.

Example:

Moved to the football and other sports board when content is clearly relevant to CCFC. I'm not the only one getting pissed off with it.

My view is that it needs to be done. There is a "subscribe to this thread" option in the thread tools above the posts, does that not notify you or redirect you? I have never used it... If not maybe it can be implemented to the site.

I didn't move this paticular thread but it has to be done to keep the forum tidy, personally I don't think it matters what section threads are in as I mainly use the "New posts/Threads" tab at the top but will move things around if I see them in the wrong section.

Also I agree with you that the thread didn't need moving since it was CCFC related.

I moved it I think, I couldn't see how it was CCFC related as it was about Sheffield United releasing players?

Threads are moved to keep things in the best section for them, if you use "New Posts" at the top you see everything. There are categories to make the site easier to use rather than just posting everything and anything in the CCFC forum.
