‘The atmosphere is a difficult one, and sharing with Wasps the pitch is not really conducive to how we want to play.‘There is not one Coventry picture up anywhere. Wasps have framed images with scrums, line-outs, and tackles. Where are the ones of Coventry players and fans?
‘You want the crest everywhere so the players feel a part of something bigger than them.’
Good to see that someone at the club is acknowledging this and talking about it in the press.
He'd already mentioned the lack of memorabilia type stuff at Ryton but it also needed noting about the Ricoh,
OK, I know the Wasps own the stadium now, but they could atleast give us some space to have our own stuff! Need something to make it feel like home for the time it is our home!

It should be we have our stuff out on our watch day they have theirs on there match day!
Personally IMO the sign that says HOME TO THE WASPS also needs to include the football club! IT needs to be a joint effort and the club should be allowed the do it!!
The only way CCFC will ever command more concessions and respect from Wasps, CCC and even from many people in the local community is to become a better and bigger club. If all our cunty owners want to do is cut things to the bone, reduce playing budgets and use the club as a financial vehicle to load debt on then we will never gain the clout to demand more from the landlords anytime soon.

True, it's a difficult road back but the only way is to make good positive decisions and promote some growth. You can only cut so much as it is a wage driven sport and there comes a point where you need to back a manager with a sensible budget to succeed. We all know if City are playing reasonable stuff and near the top of the league revenue will leap anyway, God help us if we end up with the likes of Hockaday in charge of a miniscule budget whilst Fisher and Co keep spouting lies and bullshit.
