‘The atmosphere is a difficult one, and sharing with Wasps the pitch is not really conducive to how we want to play.‘There is not one Coventry picture up anywhere. Wasps have framed images with scrums, line-outs, and tackles. Where are the ones of Coventry players and fans?
‘You want the crest everywhere so the players feel a part of something bigger than them.’
Good to see that someone at the club is acknowledging this and talking about it in the press.
He'd already mentioned the lack of memorabilia type stuff at Ryton but it also needed noting about the Ricoh,
OK, I know the Wasps own the stadium now, but they could atleast give us some space to have our own stuff! Need something to make it feel like home for the time it is our home!
That would require an acknowledgement that the Wasps move is negative for Coventry City which a few still can't accept. And people poo poo'd me for saying wasps had had an impact on our home form.....

Trouble is I can't see the road back now to becoming a bigger and better club, only way it will happen is if someone with deep pockets arrives. The only way CCFC will ever command more concessions and respect from Wasps, CCC and even from many people in the local community is to become a better and bigger club. If all our cunty owners want to do is cut things to the bone, reduce playing budgets and use the club as a financial vehicle to load debt on then we will never gain the clout to demand more from the landlords anytime soon.
