I for one don't know why we signed Hunt when Hooi was a better option. Kent went back to Liverpool and we needed another winger. Hooi went back to Holland and said in an interview he got wind Cov were signing an ex Premiership player.
He must be laughing at us now...
My point is overall...what has Ramage, Hunt, Henderson etc actually done for us? Ramage has been sent on loan, Hunt I don't know where he is? and Henderson...well he showed his ability falling over like a donkey.
We didn't need to sign any of those players.
What's shocking is the run we have been on since Christmas. Mowbray hasn't got the answers.
I know L1 is difficult and it will be tougher next year with especially MK Dons and Charlton more so than Bolton (they're in trouble).
I agree with you about Hooi, we have no natural width so he could well of been ideal.
Ramage was a last resort signing was not the answer and I'm sure TM has admitted as much. Hands tied.
Henderson is different to what we had, experienced. Was never brought in for his goals more what he offers in size and bulk. Like he did against Rochdale I think it was. Gave us a target, a force up front and caused trouble. Yes v Peterborough was not pretty, over all not worked. Again a option but hands tried.
Hunt was most likely his biggest mistake, billed for his ability to pick a pass others like Murphy/job could not see. Hunts not performed.
You say we didn't need these players, ramage we did.... Hunt, maybe not. Henderson yes, as we needed a brutal striker with fight and aggression, he's just a bit to past it for what we really need.
If we'd of had a full strength defence we could well of got in suitable wingers or strikers in to support AA and a confidence shot Murphy.
