I'd suggest vodka and crack more helpful to convincing anyone we're a good bet!
Got me through the last 2 years.

Does it matter? What would he change after one day? I think the team for tomorrow will in any case be picked by McFarlane. The new manager will only be a passenger for the first game.
So, if he is thrashing out the off field stuff as well as on and signs does that give any confidence to supporters there is/will be progress?
True, just gives the match a little extra edge/excitement with the new manager officially taking charge which also may rub off on the players.
Tony Mowbray is not a shoe in for any post. He has been out a while and has not surfaced at any other vacancies. If he was indeed interested from the get go it's because he appreciates his own position but I'd dare say at the same time will not risk total wipe out of his status if SISU are unwilling to meet some obvious terms of his own, without which even he sees he might not succeed otherwise. I'd say if there is a sticking block it's about a guarantee of some investment year on year to help succeed.
More like...TM: How much will you be investing in the team in the summer?
SW: Erm... more coffee Tony?
It might take a while.
Even if it is not Mowbray; rejoice. Yep, rejoice it isn't Tim Sherwood.
I'll drink to that. Dilemma though, if he takes Villa down, do we like him?!
Was just about the post this, you have to be a bit mad to take on this job.Dour and boring personality...
