Does it matter? What would he change after one day? I think the team for tomorrow will in any case be picked by McFarlane. The new manager will only be a passenger for the first game.
I would YES,, if it is TM he is a decent manager, is he someone that can have an impact Yes,,is he someone that could turn this club around,, NO that has to come from off field and foundations have to be put into place short, mid and long term... He is someone that is wise to all the promises and pitfalls,, his question is, is his name worth more turning it down and taking another championship job come summer... But i will credit Sisu if they get him in, as he was above what i thought we could sell to when SP was sacked...
Tony Mowbray is not a shoe in for any post. He has been out a while and has not surfaced at any other vacancies. If he was indeed interested from the get go it's because he appreciates his own position but I'd dare say at the same time will not risk total wipe out of his status if SISU are unwilling to meet some obvious terms of his own, without which even he sees he might not succeed otherwise. I'd say if there is a sticking block it's about a guarantee of some investment year on year to help succeed.
