You are the fool as I knew the game was a cup game and I never labeled the city supporters that went to that game, unlike you which is not the first time for you. In fact it would be interesting to look back and see how many times you poke fun at city fans and call them names compared to other fans on here. I think you would come out the clear winner.

Don't think so. It's you and your equally obnoxious twin spion kop who take that award.

You forever judge people who support the team and divide fans. You don't have to swear to offend.

I've never criticised supporters for watching the team. I applaud those who go to sixfields as they are keeping continuity with the club by attending. I doubt if you and your charming other half feel the same.

So because of slagging off people for going to Arsenal and MK for instance doesn't last all season like the games at Northampton did meaning the comments happened more through the season it makes it OK to slag people off for going to games like Arsenal and MK?

You either think it is OK to slag people off for going to games or you think it isn't. What makes anybody have the right to slag the Northampton goers off and not the away games and vice versa? For fuck sake we are all supposed to be CCFC supporters. Have they divided us that much?

Oh dear, I don't think you understand.

I am not slagging anybody off, I just use it as a reply to the people who do slag people off. ;)

ie Spionkop slagging off people who have given SISU money, people who went to Arsenal or Hartlepool gave SISU money so I was pointing it out. It isn't me slagging them off, that is my point.

People come on and say silly things like "People who give SISU money agree with everything they do", so then people reply with "Like those people who went to Arsenal?" because then that is usually replied to with "Oh no, that is different". Nobody on here has slagged off people who went to Arsenal or MK dons, merely used them as examples against people's arguments.

It is the same as when it comes to protest "groups", Rob S thinks of a strategy and plan etc and gets hammered and Michael posts a newsletter he posted the day before to be greeted with "nice work, well done" etc.

I also don't slag off the people who go on and on about NOPM then go to Arsenal I just say I find it ironic, that isn't really slagging people off is it?

If I was on here saying "I will never give SISU a penny" and then was walking round in the latest city shirt, I would deserve for it to be pointed out too ;)

People keep saying "they" divided us, but you only need to read posts from people like Spionkop.

70% pay reduction. No wonder he left, if my boss offered me a new contract with a 70% reduction I'd punch him in the face.

The article last year in the mail suggested he baker and Clarke were on an average of £8k per week (could be bollocks but we have no other info). The average league one salary is around £1.5k pw (c£4k in championship).

A 70% reduction (£2.4k) on £8k pw is still above average for this league.

There is division all over this forum from whatever side of the fence people choose to sit on.

Fair point, I'm not on 8k per week unfortunately.

But were Baker, Clarke or Murphy classed as average players? To me they were the best players in our squad so as you like a stat, can you find one that is actually relevant to the players you mention. As in the highest earners rather than average otherwise you may as well use people like Webster, Seabourne, Adams etc and see what they earn if you are talking about average.

Every team has low, middle and high earners to create an average but to keep using the highest earners to prove your average point doesn't make sense.

Clive Eakin said he was offered a contract with a 70% pay reduction.

Don't tell Clive met Joy and has been brainwashed.
I thought he was repeating what Juggy had 'heard'?

It was an open comment. Why not choose Grendel instead of Spion to state what you want to say  He goes to Northampton but always has a go about people going to Arsenal and MK........then has a go at people for mentioning him going to Northampton

Fuck me it is all about choice. I won't go to Northampton. I see it as being so wrong. But what is wrong with me going to away games like Arsenal or MK? I don't have a go at people that go so why do they think they have the right to have a go at me if I go to away games?

No I don't have a go at anyone who goes anywhere unless they preach nopm or bleat about franchise football. Then they are hypocrites so I do.

Never had a go at anyone who went to sixfields ever. Making stuff up again like the PWKH abuse lie? Tut tut.

If he posts that anybody who gives SISU money are bad then I will say the same. What has he said about MK or Arsenal?

I am pretty sure (but might be wrong) that nobody actually slags off people who go to Arsenal or MK fan people but just use them as a reply against people like Spionkop, or to point out that they keep shouting proudly about how they won't give SISU money but then turn up at Arsenal. People make statements about anybody who gives SISU money supports them, then it is pointed out about Arsenal and they look for other excuses as to why that time was ok, not that it was a big game at the Emirates of course and their mates went ;)

People don't have a right to have a go at you for going to away games, the same as people don't if they go to "home" games but when people have a go at people who do go to home games by saying they are bad for giving SISU money but then the same people post about going to Arsenal what do they expect?

Yes it is. So why do you keep talking it all the time? You can't argue with me so resort to cheap insults.

It does make sense you're just being pedantic. All 3 players are good league one players and should be paid a good league one wage, never said they shouldn't. But they aren't above average championship level players, in fact baker proved not good enough for the championship so that doesn't justify why he (and the other 2) should be paid twice what an average championship player is paid whilst playing in league one.

Yes you have high earners, you have medium earners and you have lower earners, but you have to have a sensible structure in that. Don't forget that's just basic and there's bonus's, signing on fees, agents fees etc on top of all that.

Don't think I am being pedantic Stupot but you're entitled to your opinion. You seem to be the man for a stat but when I ask for one I get called pedantic. You use our best players and in the case of Clarke and Murphy for your argument saying they are average but the high earners in L1 on one site I found was £7k a week so they are not far off the mark are they? All I asked was if you are going to be correct in using average players to prove your point you cannot use the best players in the squad, that's all.

The high earners in the Championship are on £1.2m a year so Bakers £8k a week didn't look to bad for a below average player (as you call him) for a supposed big club.

Also, the figures you used from the mail came up in late 2011 looking at the reports I read, they may be the same for the year or two after though.

You talk about our structure but I wonder exactly what that structure has been from the start of last season because do we know what the contracts and earnings of our average players in L1 (not Clarke, Murphy or baker). Or are you saying that we should not have any high earners? because if that is the case how can we possibly compete with anyone else in our league?
