My brief encounter with Mr. Hoffman (1 Viewer)

I spoke to Gary Hoffman briefly on the train back from Brighton with his lad. I asked him if he was trying to buy our club and he said he is trying his best. He did say though that Saturday was the first time all season that he has been invited to a game and that SISU can't sustain running the club losing as much as it is. He suggested it's only a matter of time before talks officially begin. I also asked him if he thinks we're getting relegated and he said 'definitely'.

Don't shoot the messenger, we didn't have much time as there was only a short time left back to Brighton station but this is straight from the horses mouth.

Strange that, as CWR said he'd been invited on Saturday by Brighton to hand over some award or cheque or something. Can't remember exactly what it was, but am sure he had to go anyway in a completely different capacity.

That is true, he was on the pitch at half time but I am just passing on what he said. Come to think about it he didn't exactly say who he was invited by so you may be right. He may have been invited by Brighton not the City.

I spoke to Mr Hoffman a few weeks ago and he told me he SISU will sell Juke, Clingan and Cranie in January. Hoff is planning on bidding before the end of January to try to avert this. He said that if he takes over he will get someone in to replace AT, who would go back to an upstairs role.

Was a little concerned when I read the title but thank god it is football related and nothing to do with the gents at 90 mph :)
