Yes very odd. This year by seat reduced in price by over £200 but I would have (and expected) to pay the original price. However, once it's done it becomes difficult to start raising again especially with a likelihood of a drop in divisions.

I think the problem is that people who bought season tickets last year have seen very little of the money reinvested. If they were more expensive and we bought a few players, fair enough. I think we're more likely to see Richard Shaw score again than that happening.

The saddest thing in this, is the under 7 prices. I have had a season ticket for my granddaughter for a couple of seasons, from the age of three. But she has only been a few times, hence, when it was free, I did not mind.
My grandson is nearly three now- time to take him up occasionally?......well, not now. Thats two future fans lost.....by the time they are old enough for me to justify paying for them, they will not be interested in ccfc, if we still exist.
I sometimes wonder, have these people (that make these decisions) ever taken a child to a football match? If there is not a lot of excitement, their interest soon wavers, and you don't get to see a lot of the game yourself. You cannot buy an expensive ticket and then only see bits of games. So, you don't take them.

Is that a definite even in the JSB area?
My lad is 3 and a bit and next season was going to take him up (When he was up here with me) and get him a season ticket. Like you say at that age their attention span is all of 5 minutes before they’re bored. Sod that for a game of soldiers forking out for him to get restless after 5 minutes.
Thing is, even if new owners takeover end of season, these prices will be in place and implanted.

On a side note, fair play to Olympics for their novel idea. I paid just £3 for my boy’s ticket for the Ricoh in the summer.
Basically however old the child is, is how much their ticket is. So a 5 year old is a fiver.

One of the sensible ideas to come from the 2012 Olympics!
I know moneys tight these days but £12 matchday and £249 stand(LOL) season tickets at Nuneaton borough. Its no wonder we can,t afford decent wages for players to compete in League 1 let alone the championship.Still want SISU out though if only for the disrespect they,ve shown our fans.With the £20 voucher(1/2 price shirt which I,ll buy anyway) its pretty much the same as last year.
