Nagging Doubt (2 Viewers)

I know it is negative and we have heard it all before. But I still have this nagging feeling that when Sisu think they have milked all the sales they can from TM's appointment, they will renague on promises made to him forcing him to leave so they will not have to pay him anything. Really hope I am wrong.

Sure i read somewhere that he has in his contract that if said assurances are broken they have have to pay up half the contract even if he walks. He is a savy guy mowbray wont be taken for a fool

If they do things as they have always done them, they will get what they have always got.

If they don't change, we will continue on this downward spiral.

If they do change, things can only get better.

Lets see what this season brings.

Nagging doubts are natural and part of life. The appointment of Mowbray and his staff is a positive one, let's give them some time to do the job. I stand by the my prediction he will need three transfer windows to really show what he can do. The rebuild will be limited by budget and we really are building and developing from scratch.

nobody gets every transfer right, so there will be failures and there will be other teams with budgets after his targets as well. Remember at this level and wages location can play a part in a players decision.

It won't be all plain sailing but hopefully steady progress will be enough to keep people off his back.

Sick of these kind of threads...have to read them of course, but can't believe what I'm reading sometimes. It is what it is as they say, and at the moment it's better than it has been for years! So enjoy it while we have it, and let's get behind TM and the team by doing our bit...getting down to the Ricoh and showing our support. TM has clearly been working very hard for us already, and doesn't deserve doubts at this stage...he clearly knows how to handle sisu, so relax and enjoy!

Have you any factual information to back this up? Cause if so, I'm off to Asda now to stock up on groceries.

No "hard" evidence no, but SISU said it won't so based on the above theory then it defiantly will. I'm building a shelter.....

I am behind the team pal. I get my season ticket every season. But when you have seen the way this bunch operate, it's enough to make anyone have doubts.

Why is this such a crazy concern, its only a learned reaction over years. Personally I think we have our best chance for a while but I also have seen nothing from those tossers in 8 years to remove every shred of doubt

How much do you think it cost them to pay off SP?

They got rid of him when he had a very long contract. Then they brought in TM and the people he wanted on contracts. They didn't go for the cheap option. They look to have given TM control of the playing side including the spend of the budget. Season tickets reduced to only £249 when they could have charged more. Bloody hell even Fisher has gone quiet. This is more change than we could have even hoped for a few months ago. And you think it has all been done so they can take a bit extra cash and then pay TM off? :thinking about:

Fair play to Joy. She has finally put someone in charge that knows about football. They have mainly done everything wrong up to now. But it is time to leave it all in the past and look to the future. I am not saying trust SISU in everything. What I am saying is judge them by their actions. And they finally seem to be doing things the right way. It may be yet another false dawn. But it might also be the start of something special. We have a lower Prem/top Championship quality manager in Division 3. And so far I don't see any reason to have a go at SISU.

Agree with astute, everyone can have that doubt as we have all been mentally scarred but the signs are positive. TM has set his stall out and they seem to be listening for now, take that and run with it in my book.

Stay away people are not helping the situation, TM and the boys need our support.

Well, in that case we are hell and it would explain why we keep losing every week.

To hell with Asda, Otis. If the world is going to end tomorrow, get your groceries from a really up market place and pay with a credit card. :guitar2::guitar2:

Excellent post. I don`t think I`ve read a post up to now which sums up the way I see things better than this - that`s why it`s excellent of course :)
