Not sure if anybody knows of any local ones that can help him? There is Cyrenians but not sure how in depth they go.

Thought I'd post it as it might get a bit more help!

Duck, Biamou, Hyam, Sayoud and Ponticelli are out helping distribute what looks like hundreds (if not thousands) of pounds worth of clothing and toiletries tonight.

Huge respect for all of those lads, it's very easy to forget about those in need during difficult conditions outside.

Is it on social media?

I don’t really like things like this... don’t get me wrong fair play to bloke for donating stuff...
BUT
If you want to give to charity give to charity, he could very easily have done a google search or asked someone at the club.
It’s my opinion that the second you gloat about donating stuff to charity, or you put it on social media, or get your phone out to picture/video you giving, it is just feeding your ego.

Yeah, good slogan.

'Feed the homeless, not your ego.'

What utter shit. The lad is followed by thirty thousand people on his Instagram feed. If him showing what he’s doing in helping the homeless / kids in need makes a few of those people go about doing it too then that’s a great thing.
Stop trying to kick a kid that’s doing some good in the world not just here in the UK but at home in Haiti too.

Clearly you struggle to read. I haven’t kicked him. But charity isn’t about showing the world you are doing it. It’s about actually helping people in need, you don’t need to show other people you are doing that.
Do you have any evidence to suggest that him posting an Instagram picture of him giving to kids, has made others give too? Or is that just ‘utter shit’? :)

Nope, I managed to read everything you wrote. Just didn’t agree with your thoughts that him showing himself doing good and encouraging others that are in a position to influence to do the same might, just might make some of the thousands of people that follow him (and some of his teammates) do the same and isn’t him just blowing smoke up his own arse.

I guess I look at the good that can come from social media rather than have a tainted view of “he’s only doing it for the likes”.

Bottom line is it is positive public relations for both the club and the charity.

I'm not that bothered if Nazon also did it for a bit of self publicity. Surely only good can come from this.

Smybluegod isnt kicking nazon down

Its a great thing hes doing but feeding ego is 1 of the worst things you can do spiritually

If you dont care bout that stuff it dint really matter. Also on flipaide someone might read his tweet and start to do charital acts for first time in their lifes

But yeh skybluegod is not trolling or anything. I too think unless asked no need to say what u do for charities. And its tough as its human nature to want to boast when you do something good, hard to stop that 4 sure.

I almost didn’t like that for the spelling, but because you are spot on you can have one ;)
