New Arena still a possibility? (2 Viewers)

So weird, they have mashed together random shit to make an article.

Wonder if it's on the back of us trending for the Spurs game so to try and get clicks?

23,000 would be too small, got to be looking 30,000 minimum we’ve sold that before and if our aim is Premier league football we’ll need to set sights higher and go even bigger as we’d get even more demand for tickets

Really odd, why would you publish that now. Not even like its one old story they've dug up, they've merged two together.

Makes no sense when the city already has a football stadium, which no other club could/would use if City weren't there.

Have we fallen into a time slip?
Might put a quick bet on Coventry to get to the FA Cup semi finals against Man Utd in a few years

Just a scumbag 'journalist' trying to get clicks. Also making some attempt towards humour at our own expense for 'downsizing' on this new project. Seeing the SISU Stadium pictures were a nostalgic twist though.

In summary, a complete pile of shit.

They're using the graphics generated by SISU in 2013 for a stadium (that iirc wasn't at Warwick University but Nuneaton or somewhere).

This is never happening so struggling to understand why it's been regurgitated now.
Just look at the site it’s posted on and it will make sense.

It's a seed planted over ownership problems/benefits etc, some Webber Shandwick style speculation here represents possibly Fraser's and and King tbf!

What a site like the old SkyDome could make, not in the present but defo in the future, can see the council getting behind such a move with all the development that entails!

It does kind of feel that it’s something that’s been put out from King’s side.
No chance. Even if he was dumb enough to try and stain fan favour by a nonsensical stunt like this which i don't think he is, I think from what i've seen he'd do a better job that resurfacing some shit renders from 10 years ago and not issuing any new quotes.

Just a shitty rag desperate for clicks

It’s all a bit strange that it’s been published and he’s been quoted in it though.

this story is obviously bs.
for a start, if we were looking to build a new stadium now it would have to be bigger than the cbs, surely.
