OK, but pretty injury prone and almost guaranteed to pick up a life ending injury at some point.
I don't. Not because he doesn't deserve a decent way but because we've got a low enough budget as it is and we need to stretch that as far as possible.Hope he's on good money too. It's well deserved. Be nice to have some of our own centre backs that could learn from him next season!
My spreadsheet has so much ammunition from that day
I reckon the likes of Doyle will be very appreciative of what he's learnt from the likes of Fadz as his career goes on. Teaching him a lot about communication and how vital it is in defending.I don’t really understand how Mcfazdean does it really but he somehow seems to Marshall the defence and communicate constantly - bizarre how one of probably our lowest paid players is one of the most vital we have
Shut the door, Alec, there’s a draft!
I have to say that if Sean Bean has been mentioned. I won’t sleep otherwise.
Essential if we want to be serious challengers next season.New contract for Vik next ??
We've got no chanceNew contract for Vik next ??
Based on what?More chance than you think
I’d be amazed (and delighted) if he agreed to sign one but not signing one gives him greater leverage this summer.Well he has 12 months left on his existing contract, he will command top dollar wages, that doesn’t mean he’ll never be sold but ups his value, all sorts of things can be put in a contract regards transfers etc. it’s how it works.
I’m sure if offered he will, money talks and he’s the main man striker here, up to to Mark Robins to get a good strike partner to play with him, again we saw yesterday poor support up top for Vik and I know he can be a big greedy but at times he has to be.
To be serious challengers for promotion we need him, very difficult to replace and just D costly wage wise.
Absolutely spot on. I know we could sneak the play-offs this season but I’m assuming we won’t, but Vik next season with better players as promised around him will frighten the opposition to death. He terrorised Millwall last night whose strength is their defence.Agreed-We play differently without Callum O’Hare.
Less support up top but more solid defensively.
I really feel that we are missing pace. Someone with the ability to take on players and go past them. Take the emphasis away from Vic.
To those saying we should sell him-you’re bloody crazy. Strikers like Gyo are like gold dust-don’t know any player Championship and lower that could replace him and if we went abroad on a gamble we wouldn’t get like-for-like.
Need to move heaven and earth to keep him.

of course we'd love to keep him, but if we do will we just be in the same position as now where we're ruing him not having much support, or a defence/keeper that looks shaky at times?Agreed-We play differently without Callum O’Hare.
