Yes, I think all fans would be outrage if they built a new stadium in Northampton - 35 miles away is too far and would be a franchise..That would be me done.

I though brighton play in Village on the outskirts of brighton called Falmer? Grimsby play in cleethorpe, nottingham forest play in west Bridgford, Manchester United play in Salford..,,

Don't think I run a fans organization do I?
Speaking of balanced, managed to read much about the fleetwood game yet or still too busy?
Surely you would find it strange if you didn't agree? Especially as he just contradicted himself in two lines. You seem to be defending the comments and people disagreeing them with all the "why don't you do it" stuff.

Only Grimsby is called "town" the others don't pretend to be "city" or "town"
So if he said to you we aren't interested in the ricoh then in the next sentence that they are making an offer for it, it wouldn't be strange?I have meet Fisher on a few occasions I don't find all he said strange but then again I don't agree with him ether.

No, you don't, but apparently you like telling others how to do it. Maybe if you came across as more balanced, you could get elected and save us from teams that own stadiums in other people's towns.
So can you tell me why a fans forum is the same as fans organisation? Have I forgotten to take your money to represent your opinion or something? Can you remember the last time I made a statement on behalf of members? As far as I can tell I just setup a website for people to post on. I'm the same every other member on here.No you don't run a fans organization you run a fans fourm.
Balanced you are most certainly not on any spectrum of point of veiw
Ah sorry, didn't realise as a paying member to have an opinion I had to be elected onto the board.
Judging by your post history, I won't ask to use your scales to check the balance of things as they are quite clearly out.
What do you think of jans post?Balanced enough to say I can understand Wasps nipping into the Ricoh in their situation - don't like it, but blame SISU for not making an offer or trying to rebuild relationships ( e.g. By dropping the JR ) and I can equally say, I can understand, that if - if- it is not possible to get a decent deal or merger or whatever for the Ricoh, that Tim has no choice but to go to Nuneaton. Some on here detest one move as " just wrong " and the other is " only a couple of miles " etc. That is not balance, that is pure hypocracy.
A wonderful balanced view again as a moderator of this site
Now who deletes certain things as moderator
Looks like the squirrel has had a special on stella.Has everybody who posts on this forum been on the piss today? . :guitar2:

What about the one about selfish and sad?I agree with a lot of what he said. Neutrals are more interested to see how the Wasps move went. Wasps did the pr, sold their idea to 28000 paying and freebie customers. People had a good day out. I have seen the pictures... It looked great - yes, it should have been us - but we are building our own stadium and have a jr to finish off. The comparison that I would have made, to be fair, - would have been a picture of CCFC's first match after their move to Northampton ( a similar situation ).

I did, don't see anything there that indicates CCC & Higgs offered the same deal to CCFC they offered to Wasps.
I find that a very odd stance to take. If SISU came out and clearly evidenced that it is the only option for the survival of the club and the new stadium will be as close as possible to the city boundary why would supporters refuse to go. Just seems odd to me.
That's where the pr would need to come in for it to work, I don't think anybody thinks it would work if they just did it abd expected a full house to follow them.I don't think people would necessarily refuse on principle. Just couldn't be arsed after all that has gone on and go do something else on a Saturday. The stadium ( if it ever takes place ) won't be finished for years. In the meantime we plod along as tenants of a rugby club in the lower leagues. I think the fan base will dwindle anyway and the downscaling will finally confirm the lack of ambition. The gates will drop even further.
He said SISU told him they were didn't he?

The way the club is being run at the moment we have exactly the same problem at the Ricoh! Bournemouth completely rebuilt their ground (as in completely demolished it and started again) in about 3 months so it can be done. It's a rock and a hard place, we either stay as tenants of a rugby club or build our own ground. Neither option is ideal, it's now establishing which is the lesser of two evils.
If it is to be a new ground use it as a relaunch. Get decent PR and marketing and try and revitalise the fan base. We know people will turn out for one off occasions such as the first game at a new stadium, make sure the club is doing everything it can to retain them after that.
So you hold no blame for ACL, ccc, higgs or wasps? You've done nothing but defend them since the move.
I think there's a big difference between a move to nuneaton than wasps move to Coventry. It's not hypocrisy at all. I haven't made my mind up, but to me it's completely different.

Yes I'd give up supporting and be outraged if we moved to Northampton full time.
Attacking? Seriously? Somebody posts something as bad as that and people pick up on it shocker. Apparently trust people won't post on here, it looks as if it's because when they post crazy stuff like that it doesn't get straight out agreed with and defended to the death no matter what.
I think more people get annoyed by people such as Jan who throw the sad and selfish comments about, while saying they don't give a fuck about how wasps fans are treated while he goes to wasps games?
Have you seen anybody giving wasps fans abuse for traveling up? Any scab type stuff?
I must be missing something as I'm not seeing anything that says SISU were offered the same deal as Wasps. I see Fisher saying they didn't want that offer, which may be true or may be him saving face with a touch of revisionist history but nothing to say it was actually offered.
What about the one about selfish and sad?
I personally wouldn't have used that terminology. But he said other sensible things and he was being provoked by the usual suspects.
I don't really care about the level of respect Wasps have shown their fans - thats between them and their fans - I do care about CCFC. You don't oppose moving to Nuneaton even if it might kill another team and its not in Coventry? Sad and selfish.
Funny, you liked the post that had this in:
I liked the post - except for the last 3 words. Unfortunately a " like " is either yes or no and not a like for a percentage of the post. The rest is more or less what I said recently in a post. As I said previously, I would not have said " sad and selfish ".
