I'd be happy with white shorts. Anything that harks back to the grand days of Clingan, Clive Platt and arguably the worst collar ever designed for a football kit. They even inflicted it on Italy, criminal

Oh my God...I suddenly think ours is wonderful. Look at those three for too long and your eyes bleed.😲

Can't beat Forest Green Rovers shirts from 22/23 season. Neon Green home and Neon Pink away.

Can't get them for love nor money now. They must have sold out in seconds. Or they couldn't afford to make too many.

That's too much like last seasons Arsenal away shirt which was a crime against football, good taste and everything else

Who cares about shorts and socks 😂😂
I do...i want to see the whole deal not a pair of jeans ffs. If I wanted a pair of jeans id go to prim mark but seeing the whole kit as one, makes or breaks it. The shorts might be hideous if there's too much going on and many lines down the side. Id prefer plain white with a sky blue tie-up personally... but as people have stated before....what do i know. 🙄

White shorts are a disgrace. No amount of heritage bollocks can justify that.

We had white shorts in 1986-7 only because the supplier (Triple s) let us down - the stripes weren’t even sky blue. We wore blue shorts for the cup games after the 3rd round.

The relegation season kit’s white shorts were usu replaced with black ones away from home

And the puma double neck monstrosity used the white shorts to deflect controversy from the horror of that shirt design (horizontal pinstripes!)

A disgrace? 😂😂 It’s not that bad and we’ve not even seen what they look like yet!

To be honest, I am glad that isn't the home shirt.

I think the idea was to show it as fans would wear it? Or are you planning to attend home matches wearing the full official kit?

Bit of an argument going on here about this. I was taught that the name comes from St Osburga who founded a nunnery along the Sherbourne (also St Osburgs off the ring round). Anglo Saxon pronunciation was Coventre which is Covent which meant convent and Tre which means settlement. I can understand thats hard to get on a shirt though.
I was always told it was Cofa but wondered where it had come from given that the first recorded history was the nunnery. But then it would have been Conventtree, though I guess over time it could have altered.
