New kit (1 Viewer)

Just been informed the new kit will hopefully be on sale in October.

This is due to the club not being able to raise a large purchase order and ties in with Appleton saying we'll be out of admin in October at the earliest.

It is hoped however that there might be some spare from the players kit that can be sold to supporters.

Sounds like I might as well buy my new home shirt for myself at Christmas.

Maybe ACL will buy the rights to the kit off the club, then charge us £1000 a pop for it, but tell everyone they're being fair cos we can buy it if we want.

maybe acl will buy the rights to the kit after the club ran out of money with a below market rate agreed on return. Then the club can turn down several offers of a changed deal and finally refuse to pay for the kit in the hope of getting it below te rate they paid in the first place

Interesting that they're saying they can't raise a large purchase order. Otium/CCFC Holdings aren't in administration, so there's nothing stopping them raising a PO as far as I can see it (whether anyone would trust them with credit is a different matter). Obviously they've had to make some sort of financial commitment to Northampton.

Could it be that this points to some doubt on SISU's part with regard to whether they will actually own the club, post-administration?

Sorry, appreciate this isn't actually about the kit itself...

Indeed it means they may even be thinking of exiting.

Or it may be something to do with failing to get sponsors.

White. No dye needed.

TF (on the phone to Primark): That's correct - 3000 of your cheapest white 'T' shirts, and a pair of blue socks. And, erm, can I borrow your washing machine please, someone stuck a balloon in ours and it's broken.

They told me this morning the players kit was 'currently on its' way'. How bloody long dies it take to deliver?

I work for a company that makes elite sport tops. We operate a 3 week turnaround and we are about the quickest there is as we're all British made. I'm guessing Puma could be several months. If our admin caused a delay in the order it could seriously delay us getting the kit.

The larger companies operating using fabric and sublimation from abroad which is a lot slower. If we've only just recently put in an order then Sept sounds about right.

The club is a shambles and the laughing stock of the football league. I just hope this time next year this will be a distant memory. 12 months on, at the Ricoh, SISU gone with new owners in, nice new home and away kit with sponsors, decent players getting ready for a high profile friendly.:)
