Part 2 of the interview is up:

“I think in terms of the evolution of the club and where we are shopping, with Doug coming in, the resource that we have got has to be used in the most effective way,” she said.

“And what I am trying to do is make sure that is protected at all costs by making the best decisions with the most information. And making sure that team dynamic and cohesion is protected and sustained. It is really easy to disrupt it with one rogue individual.

“You only have to think about Cristiano Ronaldo when he went back to Manchester United and the detrimental impact that had on the team’s cohesion. I know that’s an extreme example but what we are trying to do is avoid any situation where we disrupt something that is so precious to us, which is the team dynamic and team spirit.

“That’s something that is strong here. We have a fantastic group of players and by inadvertently bringing someone in who could impact negatively on that, it’s like a pack of cards and everything could come down. So we’re trying to sustain and protect that, and that’s fundamentally important to us.”

It's great being a Sky Blue innit.

In my 70s now and I can honestly say I'm as proud to be a City fan today as I was when I made my way to HR alone on a bus from Canley at the age of 7!

We've come such a long way in the seven years that MR has been at the helm and we're starting to look like a proper 21st century technology embracing football club.

That was a really good read.
I thought I did well doing the same from Bed'uth when I was 9!

Did she do her personality report on Stamenic? Doesn't sound like he was necessarily of the right personality for the club's cause.
Why because he took his time to make a rational decision for his own career ? Yes sounds like a total nutter.

The fact he is being immediately loaned on when he was wanting to play in the premier league suggests he is driven by money. Values would have been something that would have been picked up.

That isn’t the only conclusion you could reach though is it.

It could be that he’s self aware enough to realise he’s not quite ready yet for the Premier League and the loan will help him take the next step with a club who has the same owner.

Different time I’m 69 went on my own from the age of 8 or 9 dad worked till 2 or 3 on Saturdays. Got the no 14 inner circle bus to the ground 2 old pence paid at the child gate if I remember correctly it was 1and 3 went to the kids enclosure at the front of the Kop. Got the bus back home from outside the Sky Blue Stand. If you looked like you were alone the adults would make sure you were ok.
Exactly how it was with me! The inner circle bus route bought back so many memories as well! The old 2p payment took you everywhere 👍

This is the type of transfer that the FA needs to monitor going forward cos this guy will not play for Forest unless they get relegated next season

I work in IT so I love that we're using data and technology in a more constructive way - this is the way especially when attempting to compete with bigger clubs. Brentford and Brighton especially are masters at this in the PL and have often punched above their weight in that league.

We're making big steps, on and off the pitch. Love it.
With the trackers now and real time data they can tell when a player is getting fucked and at injury risk! Mind you I don't need it when looking at Palmer as he crawls off the bench🤣

I hope this relationship is working well because it gives hope that a strong first team coach appointment could really level us up in terms of tactics and preparation. I imagine for someone like Robins who has operated for so long without data nerds and more progressive coaches, it is a bit of an adjustment.

And in fairness, as far as I'm aware he hasn't come out and said that himself, so it's just speculation anyway.
