Lets just hope we are in league 1 for it and take it from there
Where’s Grendull going to sit then?Just fr you, you get to sit in Tim Fisher's face every matchweek.
Yeah, of course they do! Was about £10k per match IIRC before they shut one of the stands.Don't they still pay matchday costs any more for things like that?
This community day will be to show Wasps of potential footfall to ensure a decent deal. Spend generously on Saturday to please the pests as much as it might grate
The price of things at the Ricoh they might make that much on Saturday :woot:any delight they may have about the hot dog sales are negated by the clubs owners in court sayng they may owe about £30m
I'll take that if I can have the balti pie the night beforeJust fr you, you get to sit in Tim Fisher's face every matchweek.
They need a deal to be able to sign off the financials. 1 year papers over the cracks buys time and means we are unstable for another season. Better than no deal but .....
No chance, only one thing will bring the majority of stay away fans back.Full stadium, hopefully win. Everyone feels great on Monday & they announce a new long term deal at the Ricoh in the hope of people coming back
A trip to Wembley? No chance, only one thing will bring the majority of stay away fans back.
every cloud and all that ...on the plus side we can bump this years threads and save us all a lot of typing and arguing.
The agreement which was put in place to allow the football club to return to the city is in its last season. We fully appreciate the importance to Sky Blues supporters of their club playing in their home city, so we have agreed to a one-year extension with the football club.
In fairness i wouldn't expect anything different.Ha Wasps already giving it the hero line.
Straight in with the bullshit again.
Breaking: Sky Blues to play at the Ricoh for another season
Remember we should all be eternally grateful to Wasps for allowing us to play in the ground that was built for us.Ha Wasps already giving it the hero line.
In fairness i wouldn't expect anything different.
It'd probably help relations if both sides could be honest publicly about the mutual benefits of the arrangement.
Coventry City are pleased to announce that they have concluded a new one-year agreement with Wasps Group for the Sky Blues to play their home games at the Ricoh Arena until May 2019.
Talks have taken place between Nick Eastwood, Wasps Group Chief Executive, and CCFC Chief Executive, Dave Boddy, since September and, with the help and support of the EFL, a new one-year licence has been agreed.
Dave Boddy said: “We’re very pleased to announce this agreement, which is a deal for the Club to continue playing at the Ricoh Arena until at least 2019.
“The talks have been very positive between us, and conducted in a spirit of co-operation, which I’m sure will continue as we look to further develop the relationship between us.
“Importantly, this agreement gives supporters the certainty of where they will be watching their team play next season and provides stability to the club.
“I completely understand the frustration that some supporters expressed about the minimal updates during the winter but we were massively restricted in what we could say publicly due to the fact that we signed a Confidential Non-Disclosure Agreement ahead of negotiations, but hopefully fans understand why this was the case ahead of today’s positive announcement.
“Now our focus turns back to football and the excitement of our first ever Community Day game on Saturday, when it will be fantastic to see a bumper crowd supporting Mark Robins and the team while setting a League Two record attendance."
