I probably should know better than to get involved in this now the thread has descended to where it has but here we go...
She has both publicly in the press and privately in meetings with fans – including at least one fan who I know to be an anti-Sisu/Sixfields boycotter – admitted to mistakes and apologised. Fisher & Labo have also gone on record publicly apologising too. I think it was Labo that came out with the immortal 'If I was a lifelong Coventry City fan, I'd be anti-Sisu too.'
(Not saying that it makes it OK, not saying that people should accept anything, just reporting some facts.)
How do you know Sisu control this? I've not seen that anywhere.
They stopped paying the rent and ACL did not collapse in an instant. Another one of in your dreams, like the council was going to lose the JR.
He doesn't...he's making it up.
Legally sisu owe ACL nothing. It's the football league that inserted a clause saying that ACL should receive an amount. This amount will be determined on 7th august.
I meant in 2007 and yes they would have collapsed.
I always said sisu would lose the JR - why are you lying?
That's embarrassingHad a bottle of champagne with the mrs when they lost - absoltely right verdict and great to see them get the kicking they thoroughly deserve

Such a shame we didn't get a 30 point reduction though don't you think?
Don't forget the Milk Tray. Tight arse

Yes I do. Was pissed off it was only 10. All external parties need to be as hard on SISU as possible to drive them out. We won't go out of business, they will pass to a new owner who everyone can negotiate with.
Fucking hell. Your hate for sisu outweighs you feelings for the club. Unbelievable statement.
Lives a dream world where the club won't cease to be and any new club could play at the Ricoh for nothing.Fucking hell. Your hate for sisu outweighs you feelings for the club. Unbelievable statement.
Is that what you put when you really ,really really disagree with a post cus the way i see it the chap that posted it is no great friend of SISU and is extremely glad they lost .That's embarrassing

Did people really raise a glass over the court case? Bit sad no?
No - the two are equal. The more short term pain the club endures to get rid of SISU, the sooner they leave - which is the key to a prosperous future. This assumption is central to my hatred of SISU and campaign for sanctions.
Sisu can't/won't drop the appeal while it is still with the judge it would be silly for them to do so even after the battering they took. ACL could accept the money is in an Escrow but the fact this is still under SISU's control makes it unlikely that ACL will accept this as Ready for payment. SOOOOo it's still just a waiting game for these obstacles to be removed in my opinion.
statement and counter lack of statement isn't going to change this. just further muddying the water with PR BS.
If however SISU are refused leave to appeal yet then take the case further that will cause more friction between the parties
The way I see it Simon is that is ACLs problem to deal with. I don't see why it has to be dependent if they really are the good guys as everyone thinks.
We need a public meeting with both sides to explain why we have to wait.
A prosperous future? Mcginnity coming back? Richardson? Mr coventry dusting down his spark plugs? Yes our history is full of glorious owners and prosperity.
To wish relegation in a belief this would make us a better club in the future is insane.

No they're not. You've made it up in your head. There seem to be a fair number on here that are wanting everything & everybody to capitulate to whatever SISU want just to get the club back in Coventry.
Imagine you lend a friend £1000 to buy a car, he doesn't pay you back. You'd just accept it right? Then when the said car breaks down - you'd even lend him your car wouldn't you?
That's the sort of mentality some are expecting of ACL.
PUSB
So you were shocked too? I would never wish a 30pt penalty on my own club, no matter who the owners were. I wouldn't wish it on any club tbh. Punishing the fans for the owners mis-givings.You're shocked at hearing that? Let me tell you talking to people on the march I was shocked with how many there were with similar views.

I knew there were some didn't think there would be so many. This will impact on the numbers should we return I think we have lost a significant number of fans, you will get interest for the first few games then:thinking about:
No they're not. You've made it up in your head.
I think ACL should get a fair rent in return for what SISU want.
If ACL got an unfair (on them) rent, would I be bothered?
Yep, and every taste was fantastically sweet.
