Blame Leon Clarke if you want but had Fisher and Waggott tried we could have kept McGoldrick until the summer just needed to tweek his wages and he would have stayed until the end of the season thats a fact. Yet again our owners have shafted the team and it's supporters.

No that is not a fact. Forest also had a say.

I can assure you as a fact Forest were not interested one iota in keeping McGoldrick, what they weren't prepared to do was part fund his wage anymore, had our owners upped what we paid a bit and it wasn't thousands he would have stayed

No he wanted and courted a higher level than where we are now. he got his wish and better wages than we could offer. Simples. I would have done the same knowing my career is not much more than a decade.

Sorry Don but those stats are rubbish. Clark has scored one goal in every 1.5 games in this league. McDonald has scored 10 goals in 59 games above League Two. You really are scraping the barrel if you start to include his non league days.

No I agree Grendel.

However I do think if we don't get a striker in in the loan window. Cody should be back pushing the current lot for their place
