Definitely. Amazing how the mind plays tricks on you when walking on the glass even though you know it’s safe but still think you are going to fall down to your death!I’d recommend The Egde at Hudson Yards for your skyscraper experience … outdoor viewing deck, glass floor, 100 floors up. Pretty mild here right now for mid-January; low 40s today but getting colder with snow back end of next week. Where abouts in Jersey is your work visit - I live in Montclair but work in the city at the WTC. Never seen a City shirt on a tourist in +20yrs of living here!
Bump!
I'm in Noo Yoik for Paddy's day, staying in Times Square area.
Any tips for watching the game at 07.15 local time?
If you need somewhere in NYC to watch the footy, I'd recommend the Football Factoy at Legends. I went to watch Arsenal Chelsea years ago there, was like a speak easy, sneaking in and going downstairs whilst it was still dark outside.
Loads of screens, Decent atmosphere and an "interesting" breakfast menu including Chicken Curry and Rice
I think @Earlsdon_Skyblue1 found a place for the Leicester game.Bump!

We went to the Yankees in April and got the tube - it was pretty straightforward. It's more of a spectacle than an actual sporting event but is worth doing for the experience.Hey buddies!
Just booked a trip to NY for 4 days. Keep any suggestions coming! I’ll browse this thread again before going.
Got tickets to see the Yankees…in the cheap seats, on $12.
Anyone been there before? I’ve no idea how to get to the stadium. Uber? Underground?
I went on the underground in NY on my only other trip there and was totally confused. I lived In London for 10 years and was fine but couldn’t figure NYs system out at all!
Google maps worked for me while I was there. I found the underground system confusing too but the maps made it easier.Hey buddies!

9/11 is still open. We went up the Rockefeller rather than the Empire and it’s definitely the way to go.Google maps worked for me while I was there. I found the underground system confusing too but the maps made it easier.
My favourite thing to do was the 9/11 museum but I believe this has been closed down now. I thought the Empire State was a waste of money and best for views was the Rockefeller centre.
That’s good news. I thought I had read the museum had closed. I’m planning on going back next year so hopefully still is then. Will definitely be trying Beer Culture.9/11 is still open. We went up the Rockefeller rather than the Empire and it’s definitely the way to go.
Beer Culture is worth a visit if you like craft beer.
Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. We went to see the NY Rangers last time and my daughter loved it…all the Razamataz! We went to the Yankees in April and got the tube - it was pretty straightforward. It's more of a spectacle than an actual sporting event but is worth doing for the experience.
That’s on our to do list next time we go over. Where they difficult to get hold of?If you get a chance try and get a ticket for the basketball At Maddison square gardens aswell
if it is, highly recommend going to a nets game at the barclays centre in Brooklyn. I mean they kinda of suck right now but it’s a good timeThat’s on our to do list next time we go over. Where they difficult to get hold of?
