I know it sticks in the throat but this "Greater Birmingham" scenario is the way forward, we in Cov don't like it name wise just as those in Wolverhampton don't either, unfortunately Birmingham is the internationally recognised name. Questions for me are will it replace the West Midlands authority or just another expensive tier of local government and if it doesn't replace WM who pays for it ?
