9 points….the bin dippers will beat us at home and the smoggies will have too much for us up north. I’d be happy with that haul TBH

Gut says 9 points too. Anything more will be tremendous.

On a side note, how is Paterson of Sheffield Wednesday only 29?

I don’t think I’ve seen us beat Swansea in the league in my lifetime, so really can’t see that as a win but if we beat Swansea a point away at Boro is a good point IMO.

Would love to beat the rats but they look too strong for virtually everyone in the league.

A classic case of take each game as it comes we are coming in to form at the right time. We are currently 15 points behind Leeds and Southampton, thats 5 wins to catch up not impossible.

Our squad has variety and hopefully should have one or two better quality added, permenant loan or both.
But add to that something no one has Mark Robins and his team, Viveash, Lawrence and his fitness coaches who behind the scenes get players fit and right, we have seen with progress of COH how important that is, I’m optimistic for the end of the season.

Something around the 10 point mark. Should put us in a good position for the remainder of the season with a few new signings too.

WDDLW - 8 pts

10 would be amazing but I can’t see it. Though we do do well against Boro recently.

12 points from those games very possible, if we are to lose one hate to say it but I’d take Leicester. they are this years Burnley and Fulham not going to be caught

Crossposted from the "Points at Halfway" thread which is also discussing this ;)

Sheff Weds (H) - Santa's last Xmas present for 2023. WIN
Swansea (H) - want a win but we only seem to draw with them. DRAW
Middlesboro (A) - tough game. DRAW
Leicester (H) - they're on a high. Can't see anything but a loss. LOSS
Sheff Weds (A) - basket case scenario. Unless we screw up, WIN
Bristol City (H) - never know what team will turn up. WIN
Norwich (A) - hate this fixture. We have the ability to beat them. But we rarely do. LOSS
Millwall (H) - Joe Edwards starting to get these guys sorted. Still expect a home win though. WIN

So 4 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats. 14 points from these 8 games would be a decent haul.

As a side note , we need 9 points from 7 games to match our 39 points from 30 games last season
