Errm, yeah. You could be right.

He hasn't played a single game of football for THREE years, but yeah, I think you may be bang on the money.

just did my daily check of Gossip on BBC Teletext and read about his possible comeback :bored:

Former Tottenham midfielder David Bentley, who retired aged 29 and is preparing to return to England after three years living in Spain, says his relationship with Spurs grew "toxic" and was "like getting married to someone you think you love but end up not respecting." (Mail)

Could it not be to live and not necessarily return to the game?

Just what we need is a pub landlord running down the wing!

According to my bro's CWR journo mate, this 'high profile' player's gonna be Odemwingie on a short term deal (also,Yakubu was meant to be Slade's next best signing after his top choice didn't happen...Emile Heskey)

At least he should be reasonably fit. Only been a free agent since January. Last played in November, but should have stayed fit you would have thought.

Next thing we know, Robert sodding Jarni will be out of retirement and on Slade's Shit-hot Radar...

...however a leopard never changes it's spots, and he'll be using us as a dodgy platform to get a move to Wycombe...

The clubs a fucking joke. Signing "high profile" tosspots when the season is dead. Oh shit, forgot the Wembley final.

A well though through recruitment strategy over the last couple of years may have been the way forward perhaps?
