Next Seasons Confirmed Squad/Transfer Rumours

Our ‘dud of the match’ was our top goal scorer?

Must’ve took you ages to collate all that ‘data’ but unfortunately it’s not very useful.

Why isn’t it useful. I’d say that’s an accurate assessment of Hiwula - he often has very poor games especially at home

I get what you're saying - its not a normal job. But these guys still have families etc to feed etc in reality just like many of us. A footballers career could be cut short at the blink of an eyelid be it a horror tackle meaning they're finished in football. Unless they've been on the big money before and have a nice pot to retire on then these players knocking around league one / league 2 earning 2k a week need to make as much as they can as quick as they can. They get a solid 15 years career if they're fit enough which doesn't leave long to boost the coffers. Add to that many won't have many transferable skills in the workplace afterwards to get jobs easily. Just another view bot saying you're wrong.

Yes they have a short career but are no means poor if they spend it right..2k a week is around 100k a year, in a 15 year career thats 1.5 million if they choose to lord it up thats their prerogative majority of people here i would guess would take around 4 years to earn a 100k so 4x15 equals 60 years of work so lets not start to feel sorry for the poor little lovies

Dom Gape from Wycombe could be an option if we need to replace Bayliss in midfield. Wycombe have offered him a new deal but they have zero money to spend and we could nab him.

I wonder if were any closer to getting Carey, i think that signing is also a statement, very good player at this level

Couldn’t give a shit who we sign until a Ricoh deal is sorted

Not so, over time it was curiously predictive of what Robins would do. It was ahead of what he would do. So raters spotted good and bad before Robins

yeah not sure if you know this but i predicted the dropping of jordan shipley before it happened. alot of people gave me stick but then had to eat their words.

Because most our match ratings are based on emotion instead of data.

Gary Hooper and Conor Washington have been released by Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United respectively

How many of those 31 appearances were starts - I suspect CC had lots more starts than Baka. More game time = lower time to goals ratio.

FYI

Don't know if they've been mentioned here yet, but Brentford have just released Jack Bonham (GK) and Josh McEachran who used to be at Chelsea when viveash was there. Realistic?

Bonham is going to Bristol rovers after a loan there this year

McEachran was on a shedload at Brentford that’s why they released him. Decent player on his day though.

James Norwood looks a handful for Tranmere, might be worth a punt. 31 goals this season

Just got back from the League 2 play off semi. Norwood scored. Wasn't massively impressed, looks a bit fat to be honest. Niggly pain of a player but I'm not sure he would make the grade at higher levels.

Dodge of FGR was anonymous which was a supprise.

Best player was FGR left back. Mills. Very mobile with a decent cross
