Next Sisu Out Protest? (27 Viewers)

Common sense is what is sadly lacking all over the place.

The Trust's stand on Sixfields was correct. They should have applied the same principles to Wasps coming here- they didn't condemn it from Day 1 and as such have lost credibility.

The trust is all of us. Its the most collective group of fans we have.
If you are not happy with the direction then get on board and change it.
However, I suspect you will treat them as an easy target rather than go for Sisu who you seem to protect by challenging fans that do.

Not at all, if all fans stuck together and protested against the many problems CCFC have endured off all parties, we would look like a fan base that cares, wouldn't you think?, instead of being divided? What harm is there to do so?

It's a thankless task but we should push Sisu/CCFC for a plan for our future, particularly on the Academy which is solvable I believe.

The Trust is not all of us at all. That is very much the point. Perhaps if the Trust came out and condemned the Wasps move then there would be far more members.

I will not join the Trust when they show this almost sympathetic approach to Wasps. If that changes I will happily join.

Continue to support my club by going to games as often as I can.

Continue to comment on here and on social media about the unjust way the club has been treated by external parties as well as its owners.

What I won't do is make up bullshit excuses for not supporting my club.

If Wasps/CCC refuse to negotiate because a supporters group has condemned them it tells you everything you need to know about said organisations and the clubs chance of interacting with them productively.
Funny you should say that we had the same from our owners but you seem to wash over that.
At the end of the day this club can do nothing if our owners wish to do nothing everyone could give them all they want and get nothing might change.
You go on about dialogue our owners are the worst in that area they want letters sign
But the clubs main supporters club comes out against the club in confrontational style?

What people are alluding to is that we should let then get away with whatever they want. I guess it is the same for the council?
Nick you go on and on about the council do they run out football club?
Yes they have done wrong but until all this legal shit is over nothing is going to happen between these 2 parties.
You seem to think that the council should turn a blind eye to this and give in then if they lose the court case they will be even more worse off.
I suspect they are waiting until this is all over before there is a compromise.

So the Trust can't come out and condemn the Wasps move - is that what you are saying?
I'm saying exactly what I put in the post get your head out and read it. I'm not saying what the trust can or cannot say and I don't care anymore .I am just going to the matches to watch city while they are still there,oh and by the way there is on party that cannot be blamed for our present situation and that's the trust much as you would probably like to

The old "they don't own the football club" line is silly isn't it?

Its almost like people are worried to call anybody else out.

So where were you before wasps came here ? Oh yes everything was rosy then wasn't it? Who are you to lecture anybody?

You know what, we put too much time and effort into SISU. Yes, of course I understand why. And yes, I agree the club would be better off without them. But the days of fan-power ousting a board / owner are gone. There's too much money at stake for them, even at our level. We are where we are, and I'm afraid we've got to suck it up until the day they decide to leave. And when they do it will be on their terms, not ours. By all means voice discontent, but if you / we think that will change the outcome I'm afraid that it is highly unlikely. I think our best hope is evolution, not revolution.

And for clarity, no, I'm not a SISU puppet or council lover. I don't like either of them.

Sorry? Where was I before Wasps showed up?

I was supporting my team - which is what I intend to do going forward.

I'm not lecturing anyone - I'm sharing my opinion which seeing as we are on a forum would be a sensible idea.

Are we now saying that the Trust can not be criticised?? If I do criticise does that mean I'm in collusion with SISU??

What his basic argument revolves around is the stance against clubs moving out of a city.

The trusts reluctance to ever publicly criticise wasps and the fact they should not be here makes their stance regarding the football clubs move to Northampton farcical.

It's correct and I'm afraid makes the trust unfit for purpose.

You said you would join the trust if they condemned wasps why didn't you join when our fantastic owners were hell bent on destroying the club with their lunatic policies? And don't give me this supporting the club crap as if your one of a select group and the rest of us weren't supporting the club.

The trust aren't going to come out against wasps, the fact the board members have quite openly come out and justified the move says that.

The fact that they got a bit angry at the academy news and then went and met wasps and suddenly it's all sisus fault says that.

The fact somebody from supporters direct was working with the council pr company says that also.

There won't ever be anything saying anything bad about any of the other parties in anything.

It will just be pathetic statements like the one after vincelot to get the fans worked up, only listening to a select few members.

The fact that wasps called the trust in for a meeting when they first moved here, explains a lot. Get them onside, say sisu out a few times.

Far too impressionable. Crack on with not listening to people, it hasn't helped much so far.

Couldn't agree more. As attendances are showing, people are walking away, but those sticking with the team know this wont last for ever, just longer than we hoped

Why is that self righteous? What happens if the club was fan owned and the council or wasps tried to screw us over, by your logic it would be the fans fault and you shouldn't be able to call out anybody else.

Another one that comes on here complaining about what happened but couldn't be bothered to make the effort when it could have mattered

Sisu need to go they have fucked this club up and devided the fan base. But the opportunity to get rid was after administration and the twats gave them the Golden Share back.I can't see Sisu going anywhere even if nobody turned up to watch.

Do not have the exact percentage available, but when the Trust last put it out to membership it was a massive majority.

As for dialogue, last time I personally discussed issues with a Director of SISU it was less than two weeks ago.

And have you reported what that dialogue was about to your members?

Nick you go on about how Sisu haters love the fact that Wasps came in an took the Ricoh away from us.
I see it the other way people are now blaming them for all our woesyou soon jumped on them yet you believe all that went before should be forgotten and blame them and everyone else bar sisu for beingin this situation.
Funny how the likes of you and Ian bang on about its everyone's fault but won't attend a Sisu out march or demonstation.
Also funny how none of you will try to put any thing together against the other parties involved and I am sure if something was our together you lot will all be working or doing the garden.
