The total silence from the players is deafening. Surely MR deserves a thank you for his service. Or have they been silenced by the Queen.

Power mad queen? Come on. Be better.

we are all angry, we all don’t know either what the hell is going on. A lot will come out in wash. clear this has been planned - we’ve no choice now but to hope.

players have been a disgrace and need a long look in mirror.

king has a-lot to answer also, again, be interesting to see this Q&A

Robins is the King, not Doug. Wasn't meant in a misogynistic way if that's your issue with the comment, as I do think he's power mad and that's my opinion.

It's completely normal practice for players to be told not to post anything on social media during a time like this or risk a fine.

What I would have liked to see however is a player have the bollocks to stand up and say fuck it, I will take the fine to do what's morally right. But, that's where we are in this day and age.

Doug Queen has timed this so we only have the away game and then an international break for it in his deluded mind, to blow over.
Queen should be out and owning this. It’s his decision and Robins deserves far more respect than the quiff fuck face hiding away declining interviews.

Doug Queen wasn’t so hesitant about coming on the pitch after only being in charge for 4 months, being front and centre of the squad photo this year, dictating transfer policy… yet on the biggest moment of his reign so far, after making a shocking decision, he’s hiding away in a cupboard somewhere.

the fact she’s a female is an issue for some.

I don’t like the lazy comments which clearly are directed because she’s a female.

of course she’s not immune for critique, but no one has any basis to do that as no one knows what’s going on.
She was appointed as Performance Director and performance has fallen off a cliff. An appointment even less successful than Russell Slade. She really ought to go.

players found out through sky sports news

meeting was held shortly afterwards and they were told no social media engagement

I believe the only player was a loanne out who reacted

the club is losing that connection with the fans which was built by robins and Boddy
Good points. But with all respect to the player’s, they/we don’t always think of the consequences of indiscreet posts on any of the platforms.

Seems a bit harsh to attack the players for following instructions from their employer. I'm sure they have taken other ways to show their appreciation to MR, there's a world outside of social media you know.

This is just normal business practice for current employees . I wouldn’t read anything in to it.

The ex- players being quiet is more interesting …
Yep, try and get someone to make an off the cuff comment from the council.

A good point. I guess I'd just like to see something publicly to show some character, and responsibility to the fans who for the majority currently feel very let down.

“The performance director is the person inside a club or a federation in charge of overseeing the different performance departments of the club such as sports science, medical, nutrition, S&C or analytics, in order to ensure the players’ optimal fitness and performance on the game day, following the coaching philosophy and requirement of the Head Coach.”

As I said, performance has fallen off a cliff and she should go. Taking her iPads with her.

That’s the right decision for King.

Too much emotion flying around at the moment.

He’s right to let the dust settle, make material progress on the successor and then have more to say when he does speak.

Didnt realise we’re in politics. That’s what politicians do not football owners. Questions have been asked and we want answers

What do you think her role is? And to be honest the performance has fell off a cliff since Dennis Lawrence left…

Incidentally - there was another poster on here that states we were class between Jan 2024 and April 2024… she was appointed in Jan 2024.

Politicians have a public duty to respond to the publi, and a vested interest in that at some point they will require votes from that public.

Private business owners, even of football clubs, have the right to remain silent. It may not help their cause but that’s a gamble they have to take.

proves the point exactly

she came in in January. Started to implement changes and since those changes it’s gone downhill
