I will just go straight to possible solutions:
1) Restart Laptop/PC
2) Uninstall and reinstall software that came with dongle
3) System restore your Laptop/PC to an earlier date (via start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore) Will not wipe any valuable data, only updates and program changes since the date you go back to, so a few days before the problem started would be good. Some restore points don't work so try another if it says it failed.
4) Ring 02
Have you tried it on proper internet? Broadband etc?
Sounds like the dongle to me...
You can't connect to the internet on your home broadband either? It would be hard to see without looking at it.
Do you have any proxy settings set? Have you run spyware checks?
Get rid - Vista is a walking disaster - I say walking because it doesn't run.
Does it say you have limited connectivity ? All the bars are up but it says limited connectivity ?
If it does its something to do with the handshake between O2 and your laptop, I don't know what cures this, but it happened after one of the Vista updates, the only way out is to install the next update - but you can't do this whilst you can't connect.
Go back a couple system updates and set it to auto update and leave it running.
But my first answer is the best.
My internet comes from mobile broadband supplied by O2. The dongle works fine, I show great connectivity and great signal, but none of my browsers can connect to the net-so that's IE, Chrome, Firefox; none of them work. What's going on here? Seems very odd that this has started happening for no apparant reason-any tech savvies out there who can help would be most appreciated!
