I just don't think we'll be at a point where the club ceases to exist or is permanently taken away, so at worst there'll be a few years of shit like this, but eventually it'll work out in some way. Has to, right?

I hope please god you are correct.... but I really am fearful that the present strategy is a spiral to the bottom and beyond with extinction a real possibility. I see nothing to inspire me to think otherwise.

This is the pertinent point. The truth is if the club doesn't return at some point it shuts down. I after 41 years of hardly missing a home game now don't attend at all. Ironically my family try and persuade me still to go as really it costs no more - then some moralistic dickheads keep bleating on about me being paid by joy and Tim while still watching for free on the hill or going to away games to give other clubs the revenue.

At this rate ill be there by January. Why not all the real objectors are watching every bloody game anyway!
Notice how you said your family try to persuade you to go, obviously got no mates then....

The evidence is already out there about which messages allow everybody to get behind them...

Really?- sorry not sure as you can conclude that- How can 2 positions so far apart suggest unity can be found- of course its what we all want.
If you were lead in the SBT what central message would you deliver to unite- what would your campaign manifesto strap line be?
Im not looking for a fight here- just genuinely want to know- if we can find the middle ground in the fanbase- perhaps that is the spark to unite the respective parties?

NW I await your spark of inspiration please?

The problem is there's a physical as well as philosophical split between the fans. As long as some believe boycott is the way forward and others attend there will not be unity.

Staying away is a tough and personal choice that you will struggle with. It's natural to kick strongly against those who took the opposite view because you're still not 100% comfortable with not seeing your team yourself.

Despite what the admin sponsored trolls spout, every NOPMer wants to be there watching the team.

Common sense would suggest to me that as 1500 are attending and roughly 8500 aren't its easier to focus on those going to change their mind (if unity at all costs is truly your goal).

Then again I'm not sure unity is a sensible goal, no matter how noble.

Besides, before we start to point fingers for the split, let's remember who created it by moving the club. If you don't like it, you know who to blame. You can argue ACL play their part in our financial downfall, but noone was. Sisu took the action that split the fans.
