Except the wide roles are completely different to the central one and 3 of those players are predominantly central.
I'd say only Simms and Assante are Central? Bassette looks to be central or wide right from the albeit brief research I've done

Maybe Rudoni drops deeper to partner with Eccles/Sheaf and this dude plays the 10 behind Simms/BTA...just a guess

I agree, but we have 3 forwards for one position, realistically, Simms is obviously first choice, one of BTA or Bassette won't even make it onto the pitch. It'll be interesting to see what we do.
It’s also a 50 game season so there will be a need to rotate and give players a break. I’ll admit I was surprised at this signing because after CB or CM, I’d be looking at a RB or even LB.

Everything I’ve seen on him (granted, I know nothing about him) indicates he’s a centre forward only.

The fact they mentioned late winners scored in the official press release means we are planning on scoring every winning goal 90+ and appointing a world-renowned cardiologist to keep an eye on MR.

Another DK mega-strategy
Can’t lose a game when you score a winner in the 96th minute

Probably play two up front in some games.

No love lost from Caen fans, was on loan in Belgium had a good season, came back played one game for Caen and didn’t show up for training, forced a move, ah well, their loss by the sounds of it, highly rated
i went to caen on a school trip to normandy, i can understand why he'd want to leave
