It's not going to happen, who's going to buy a football club with a leasehold on shit ground and absolutely no fans as both ccfc fans and Northampton town fans will turn their back and a debt of £60m+ in league one?
It's just more scaremongering nonsense.
sisu are capable of the unpredictable, i think liquidation is more likely, but the merger has more chance than lego land.

@ stupot07..."absolutely no fans as both ccfc fans and Northampton town fans will turn their back and a debt of £60m+ in league one?"..........................................................................Sorry to p**s on your chips mate but, CCFC have a rigid backbone of 1k support atm, and they haven't turned their backs yet have they?.....They should have mind...The second Septic and Fisher took us to Sixfields.
Until you can provide guaranteed proof that we are coming back inside Coventry City boundaries, then you are talking "Permanent move".......I'll be waiting, although I won't hold my breath.....Take your time...Tick Tock.
Show me the evidence that we'll never return to he Coventry area?
I'm not usually one for picking people up on spelling, but after yesterday with my spelling mistake and about half a dozen jumped on it like a pack of dogs...Watch out! Yes Nick..that includes you!

The FL are quite clear that the club must return to the "Coventry Area", but what I want to know is what the "Coventry Area" is, can you say, I certainly can't and when I asked the FL they said I should contact the club as they can't comment.
Too many logical failings to suggest Northampton is anything other than a temporary stopgap.
And why pick a town where you fight against plenty of competition for support as opposed to, say, Telford?
.
Yesterday they beat Stockport 2-0. Remember our first game after relegation from the Premier League?
Anyway, having been liquidated, Telford are now a Phoenix club (or are they?) having re-emerged as AFC Telford. Currently second in the Conference North, so could be playing Northampton next year...
'We're all going on a Nationwide tour'.
Was at that game and felt exactly the same.I did actually say to my Dad after the game, that in a way it would be a pity that we'd only be there for one season, because it'd make a pleasant change winning all the time.
"And would you like any salt and pepper to eat those words with Sir?"
Do we really have to have this vitriol towards NTFC? Yes, their chairman agreed to groundshare with Satan but if he had not it would have been someone else perhaps even further away from Coventry.

It looks as if they will mate. Where will that leave us?
34 miles from home, with 5% of "fans" actually going to home games, and landlords that are a council, causing confusion as to who gets priority over when games get played, meaning NTFC fans will be supporting coventry
thanks, but 5% seems a little low ?
