Id rather lose 3-0 because we were caught on the break/cut open than see us lose 3-0 because we stuck ten men behind the ball for 80 minutes and still gifted them three goals.
We would gift them goals if we played 11 goalkeepers.

Not going to go too overboard as expected to lose that game, but still disappointing to concede that second dawdling on the ball, just suprised we didn't do the normal thing of tugging them back, giving away a penalty and a red card.

Was surprised to see Osti drop out to bring in Fadz, partly because I think Norwich's style of play is a bit too fluid for Fadz and seocndly if he was coming back in Hyam is clearly the one needing a break. Surely you can't keep him in just because he scored previous game?

Also disappointing to watch them trudge off heads down at half time. Yes, we'd just conceded due to another self-inflicted error but we need more belief in them approaching the games in a few weeks.

I'm trying to look at the positives of Walker and Kelly back along with a few others on the bench - if we can get them up to speed for the games in March that has to be priority. So I'd spend the rest of this month rotating players to give a bit of a rest to make sure they're as fresh as possible for that run of winnable games.

I thought the first half last night was poor from ccfc. Norwich were full of confidence, moved the ball well with the odd mistake that they cleared up quickly. They looked a top of the table team. What they lacked was a goal scorer from their own play. Turns out they didn't have to worry because ccfc have enough mistakes to share. The two goals were awful. Yes Hyam messed ( on more than one occasion) but he wasn't the only one at fault for the first and the 2nd was amateur hour that had me swearing at the TV.

2 nil job done for Norwich. Was probably done at 1 nil in truth. Second half was better especially after the 5 changes but it is no good starting to play (yet again) when we are losing. Was anyone convinced we would score in the 2nd half I know I wasn't.

We don't have a cutting edge in front of goal. The midfield looks OK at times all very pretty but it isnt incisive, they are not a unit and provide neither enough cover for the defence or chances up front. The defence always has at least one costly mistake in it and is as a unit too slow.

Too many players had a bad day at the office first half. Those that rose above that flattered to deceive, with scattered moments of quality behind far too many bad decisions and poor passes.

Goals come from all over a team or should do but the forwards need to look like scoring or capable of creating good chances at least . Our top scorer has what ? 5 In 30 matches from midfield. Any goal we do get seems to be a surprise just now.

I know people query certain players as to whether good enough for championship. But are any really based on this seasons results. Now I am not calling for MR to go but are he and his backroom team up to the Championship? Recently there has been MR picking players out, yes they need that but in public does it help? To me his thinking doesn't appear clear or incisive and that is reflected on the pitch

There is a lot to sort out. The players were up close to Cantwell and need to learn from his effort, speed, strength and decision making. He isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread but he was head and shoulders above any thing we had to offer last night.

We can still rectify the situation and stay up. It is in their own hands but whole team and management need to do better.

Couldn't watch live yesterday. I went out and left my screen on "Pause" I stupidly saw the score while I was messing around trying to set up to watch. Screen locked up and I had to wait until today.
Meanwhile I read all the comments and was expecting a repeat of the Cardiff game.
Somehow knowing the score in advance allowed me not to be as upset with individual errors and I thought the performance was an improvement over Cardiff (Couldn't have been worse) M.R. always says the shirt is theirs to lose and he dropped (or rested) a few. I thought we really missed Ostigard. It was good to see the early subs and an attempt at a different formation. We lost to a strong team.
I don't realistically expect much from Brentford but have the usual optimism looking forward to the weekend.

I think Shhmmmeee and me went same for Norwich game would not have given a crap about width tbh would keep us very compact and hard to break down centrally while attempting to cut off the three behind Pukki with Hamer, James & Sheaf.

Up top Max wouldnt have started for me would have been Gyo who drifts left.....O Hare who drifts right and walker through the centre.
I think they are probably our best front three and O'Hare a good counter attack player also like Walker.

Not sure what I would do for Brentford at present tbh will have a think and post on that match thread ,,,,,think from MR feedback it won;t be an unchanged start xi from Norwich that is for certain.

Up to the worst striker we have by some distance, so we can leave our only finisher on the bench because he’s not a big lad.

They all come out when we lose a couple.

This place is going to be nuts until March.
It was only the other week he tried to claim that Biamou not scoring headed goals was redundant due to the way the game has evolved 🤣🤣

Let's be brutally honest about tonight's match. If we compare the contributions of Walker and Biamou in a half each, Walker 2/10, Biamou 7/10. Tyler is not physical enough and I couldn't for the life of me, depend on his work rate. Go Max and Gygores up front for the rest of season and boot the ball from back four coz we can't pass it from the back with confidence. Hyam is struggling and Rose needs more game time. Boot it forward ta fuck.
Classic.
